Get a taste of your own medicine. He folds the hacksaw and gets out his usual kitchen knife to cut at the strings that are a lot closer from the ground. Those wings would be useless if he cut them off...

Usually Vassago would be all in with fighting the Daitengu alongside Terry, and that's exactly what he'd done before. But this time, he's acting out and preventing Terry from fighting anymore to get in his way, disobeying orders. It's really something to have your Persona try to calm you down instead of the other way around. Vassago flies back up to where Ala is and makes a small dragon sound. Probably a request to Ala to shoot a Bufu at Terry's face now that he's closer and probably feel the chill better.
Terry isn't retaliating or struggling out of Vassago's grip, but he's pretty damn bloody and stares at Vassago's hand. ]
