It took Terry longer than six hours in the Velvet Room. He occasionally had to step out of the place to pinpoint something (not in the castle so that he doesn't get bombarded by Kano's mischief, since his portal was nicely placed in one of the classrooms) and then went back to work. His head still felt like it was going to explode every now and then and... he needs a new lighter. He used it all up from lighting bombs and trying to meld metals together in the process.
Anyway, the lightning rod looks like a metallic coat hanger that's about 11 feet tall. Terry worked on the wires too, that would transfer the energy to the generators. The wires are the reason why it took Terry so long, but he eventually finishes and goes to the conductor's cab to find Minato. He knocks on the door. ]
