Every step that they take, ice cold hands clamp around their ankles and makes sure each step never gets them anywhere— Or, at least, those hands are discriminatory and only seem to grab onto Kido and Rio, both Suzume and Hayato clinging onto Kido's sides but they don't seem to be able to see or notice the hands at all.
