Whether Yuya came to like him because, out of everyone, Kano is the one who throws up the walls and pushes people out and doesn't let anybody in. So when he does let somebody in, he clings hard. Hearing Yuya talking about wanting to die hurts, imagining Yuya just walking away and never talking to anybody else again, it hurts. Even if the rest of the world believes they'd be better off with Yuya, there would be Kano, who would reach for him anyways, because he has barely anybody left. ]
