[ after fucking off from the dungeon, leaving the daitengu all alone and sad (invite them too, guys :'( ), it's time to have fun. at whatever agreed upon time, the ou hirajiro gang is here to finally get some good r&r. rei has been extremely excited so she's early in front of the bathhouse, holding a bag of her belongings. she waves down anyone she sees. come faster!! let's get this show on the road! ]

Bathhouse time, hoooooo!!

[ for things in the bathhouse, there are your usual spa options: a sauna, jacuzzi, pedicures, manicures, that kind of stuff. have fun, everyone. ]

[Remember what I said in my own top level about the Pokémon not being here? I lied. The Pokémon were enjoying their lazy day at the inn, helping themselves to food and drinks and watching TV all day, but during the evening Pikachu started getting restless and wanted to go see Red. So, Espeon let him out and Pikachu actually made it all the way into the bathhouse and did indeed find his trainer.

Now, at Pikachu's insistence, the two of them slip quietly into the karaoke room, where Red quickly tucks himself away in the opposite corner from Kido's. He has no desire to be a part of any of this himself, but Pikachu was excited to check out all the commotion coming from this room, so here they are.

Pikachu sees Akira up on stage getting ready to sing a song and quickly dashes up onto the stage himself before he can start, pointing eagerly at one of the microphones.]

Pika pika!

[Give it to him!!]

Pikachu!

[The song is almost starting by the time Akira's accompaniment shows up, so Akira immediately hands the microphone he was holding to Pikachu before looking around for a second one. The barkeeper helpfully provides, just as the first few notes of the song start playing.]

[It is OK!, because Mezase Pokémon Master sounds too much like a Pokémon-world song to be something Akira would know. The year is 1999 and Akira is doing a duet with a Pikachu.]

[Is Pikachu dancing, because Akira is definitely dancing.]

[Pikachu is absolutely dancing. He sings along with Akira to the best of his ability as well, giving a loud, hearty "Pika!" whenever Akira says "OK!" It's a little sloppy at first, but as the song progresses, Pikachu becomes more accustomed to the notes and the rhythm of the song.

Red watches the whole thing from his corner in wonder. He never would have guessed that Akira could sing and dance... Red doesn't even listen to music at all, but he finds that he enjoys this choice of song a lot, and Pikachu's performance adds an extra element of cuteness to it as well.

Before he realizes it, he's smiling. But only just a little bit.]

[Akira gives Pikachu a high five at least once during the performance, but otherwise he's rocking out, taking care not to step on his much smaller dance partner.]

[And as they end with a stupid anime pose, Akira is looking directly at Red and his little smile. And he's smiling more too.]

[He replaces the microphone and leans down to pick up Pikachu, intending to take him back to sit down by Red again.]
