[ after fucking off from the dungeon, leaving the daitengu all alone and sad (invite them too, guys :'( ), it's time to have fun. at whatever agreed upon time, the ou hirajiro gang is here to finally get some good r&r. rei has been extremely excited so she's early in front of the bathhouse, holding a bag of her belongings. she waves down anyone she sees. come faster!! let's get this show on the road! ]

Bathhouse time, hoooooo!!

[ for things in the bathhouse, there are your usual spa options: a sauna, jacuzzi, pedicures, manicures, that kind of stuff. have fun, everyone. ]

Hm... I think there was a patio...?

[ Something like that. It's a nice view of the garden with a single stone bench enough for two people to sit on. ]

Oh. I think I know where that is. I passed it earlier.

[ She just didn't think to go outside. If Jiro knew about the place, he'd probably try to escape out the garden.

But with a direction in mind, she leads Terry to the patio. And then off the patio, because the flowers in the garden caught her eye. They were going to plant a garden in front of the house, she remembers now... and then the town flooded for a month. ]

[ Jace had little indoor gardens that cared for themselves and that was actually one of my things on a long list of "what else should we steal from Jace" LOL

Terry sits down on the bench. Maybe it'll help sober him up with Kido's cold touch. He looks forward, looking slightly dazed. ]

[ A garden, oh my god. We can still steal Jace's garden...

Kido leaves Terry behind to make a round around the garden, before coming back to him with her hands clasped behind her back so he can't see the flower she has in her hand that she tucks behind his ear. The one with the feather earring that was her fault but Terry never told her... that also feels like such a long time ago. ]

[ Orien will think "I thought my garden expired a long time ago wtf" when he sees it haha

Terry has scars everywhere now, so he might as well not have thr clip-on earring anymore. It was mostly used to hide it so that he wouldn't have to explain to Kido, but with the abundance of the scars given to him by Terrence, he won't have to cover it up now.

He looks up at Kido after she tucks the flower behind his ear and smiles. ]

I bet it would look nicer on you.

[ We'll have saved his garden and everybody is happy!! ]

Yeah.

[ laughs, yeah. Terry looks silly with the flower, but she just sits down on the bench next to him. ]

But you're drunk and probably won't remember this, so it's fine if it's you.

[ Terry laughs too and doesn't remove the flower. He can be a flower boy now... ]

I can be drunk and still remember things, Kido... I'll remember this day.

Yeah? What's your favorite part of today?

[ Hers is dogs. No need to ask. ]

My favorite part? It's always spending time with you, Kido.

[ He grins. ]

Mm... when I'm not drunk, let me properly serenade you.

[ He's sappy and drunk but it makes Kido smile anyways, even though she thinks that if Terry got out in the middle of the night and stood outside her bedroom window to sing, she'd just close the curtains and go back to sleep. ]

What, you can't do it now? I thought that'd be something people would need to be drunk to do.

[ It'd be mortifying otherwise. ]

If I can choose the song, I don't need to be drunk!

[ Anyway. Pretend he sings that in Japanese. ]

[ Me playing this in the background while tagging...

Kido closes her eyes and leans back while she listens, a smile on her face despite the lyrics because- like she'd talked with Akira about- she loves live music, how different it is when she can hear it right in front of her versus through earphones. ]

[ He leads into this one next, but he doesn't sing the whole thing: ]

Hooking pinky fingers with our special someone
For we will never separate
With a pinky swear...

[ He hooks his pinky finger with Kido's and leans in to kiss her. ]

[ If Terry hadn't hooked his pinky finger with Kido's to bring her attention back to the present, she 100% would have headbutted him in surprise. She's still surprised when she feels the touch on her hand, but she opens her eyes to see Terry lean in, and she does the same to meet his lips.

Thanks to Terrence and Souji, she sort of knows what to do. This is terrible, I'm sorry. But it's a longer and deeper kiss than the ones they'd shared before, than a quick peck on the lips or a kiss pressed to the side of one's mouth, and Kido smiles into it. ]

[ Terry smiles while their lips are together. He doesn't ever want to forget this day. Instead of turning bright red over Kido's initiative, Terry seems to consider something, but decides that it's best to hold himself back. His heart would be beating fast if it was still there. He pulls slightly away and caresses her face while lightly bumping their foreheads together. ]

I love you so, so much...

[ Kido's face is flushed, and her heart hammers twice as fast for the both of them, but she laughs softly when Terry brings their foreheads together. As much as she wants to bury her face against Terry's shoulder, she holds his gaze and smiles back. ]

I love you too.

[ A lot. Which ends up being such a huge problem in like... the next day... but for now, Kido pushes it out of her mind, pulling back and resting her head on Terry's shoulder. It's fine. They'll be fine. ]

[ Terry scoots closer to hug Kido as he tries his best not to move her head. It's a good way to spend the time, with the person you love, in somewhere semi-private.

Things will surely be fine...

Right...? ]
