For deaths that are not easily "reversible", it will be best to contact us with the exact damage that you'd like to inflict on your character. We can then tailor our answer specifically to that injury and work with the player! For the examples that you've provided, any injuries such as large holes through a character's chest/stomach will just slowly fill in and be just as agonizing as you'd think it'd be. For a beheading, the head will remain conscious but disorientated. It can be reattached to the body via sewing, duct tape, staples, etc and then the body will start the actual healing process (the head will not be able to control their body for some time during this process). If the body is lost... well, the head will magically wake up with a body the next day, though they still have to go through the healing process and deal with not being able to control their body.
