[ It was decided that the wedding would take place at the castle, somewhere that was quaint, small, and personal. Now that the bottom two floors have been restored, it looks nicer than its original run-down state. Added with all the decorations, all pink and yellow with plenty of cute things, it certainly has taken a completely new look, one that's appropriate for a celebration. ]

[ There'll be the actual wedding ceremony itself where everyone can sit in their seats with 52 cats that are wearing matching white knitted sweaters and then there'll be the party afterwards where everyone is allowed to eat and drink as much as they want. There is no particular dress requirement for the wedding except for one: everyone must wear a flower clown as soon as they enter the castle grounds. ]

[ Terry was the marriage officiant, and he's trying to make sure that things are going well after the wedding, because who knows... anything could happen in this place and he's trying not to let something unexpectedly bad happen here. They all need at least one good day.

He's also about to take a break and eat, but... who's that guy and why's he at a corner. He walks over to Yamato. ]

Hey, we have chairs and tables over there...

[astralchain]

[ This kind of defeats the purpose of him standing in a corner because he picked it to not get into anyone's way... ah well. ]

Oh, okay. If you're fine with me sitting there.

[ He's not 100% sure why he's instinctively drawn to standing in a corner, but it's probably something to do with his awkwardness and innate survival instinct. ]

I don't mind... but should I bring a chair for you to sit on at least? That way you don't have to sit on the floor. But I'd like it if you could join us too. Besides, the food is in better reach if you sit at the table.

[ Terry smiles and holds out his hand. ]

I'm Terry. I don't think I've seen you before.

[astralchain]

Alright, I'll come.

[ Being given permission makes the thought of joining a group of strangers more acceptable politeness-wise, at least to him. He takes Terry's hand and gives a firm handshake; this'll have to do because his other hand is holding a plate. ]

Yamato. I came here last week. Nice to meet you.

[overstrain]

[ Both of his hands have white gloves over them, which makes Terry look more like a butler rather than one of the guests here. ]

It's nice to meet you too! Have you been settling here well?

It's okay.

[ It's not the Ark, and everything is way too old-fashioned, but he has to adapt. Adapt or die. ]

You've been here long, right? Has it always been like this?

Yeah.

[ If long means since July, he's been here long. ]

That depends on what you mean though. We don't usually have weddings.

[astralchain]

[ He figured that part, though it seems like he should have clarified himself. ]

I mean... the depressing things. The dungeons and stuff.

[ Yamato waves a hand. ]

[ To Terry, the dungeons aren't really depressing. If anything, the ones with monsters are stress relief for him, but he does understand the sentiment of people actually dying in them, so. Hm. ]

Dungeons are open every 12 AM for what seems like an hour, but only a minute passes in real time when it's over. It was a little better back in the summer, but I think a lot of us are getting tired. Some people here aren't used to fighting on their own, being normal every day citizens before they came here. So, it's no wonder, really...

[astralchain]

Yeah, I could see that.

[ Maybe it's lucky that he came here instead of a normal citizen. He was a police officer, then became some sort of monster-human hybrid, and all he's had to do was to fight and kill things. ]

I can help. I can train people as well, if they want to learn.

[overstrain]

We thought about something like that, but there really isn't a cohesive unity for all of us.

[ It's a work in progress. Probably. ]

But I'm not the one that's managing that. That would be Kido and Akira.

I see.

[ He should probably speak to them again, then. Both of them seem keen on training, too. Though, his thoughts tend to wander a little when he considers (to him, at least) job-related things, so Terry should ask him something or the silence will continue to last for a bit. ]

[overstrain]

[ Good thing Terry is a bit of a talker, though it has considerably lessened since the beginning of his stay here. ]

If you need a place to stay, you can stay at a two-story house western-styled home.

[ It's the only one there is, so it should stand out. ]

If you also want team info, you can probably ask Rio. [ He points to her. ] I'm just here to be the damage dealer.

[ He's seen that house during his rounds around the town. After Jiro introduced the castle to him, he had been staying there out of a lack of any better ideas, since he didn't want to intrude on anyone's space. However, Kido told him to come to the house, reminding him that he'll probably freeze to death once winter really sets in. ]

I think that would help. I'm just bunking in the castle now.

[ He makes a mental note to talk to Rio later. Though, she looks a bit young... ]

[ Terry won't add to the "you'll freeze outside" since it looks like Yamato gets it.

But.

Right. Rio looks like a little girl, so he'll have to add the disclaimer: ]

Don't treat her like a little girl. Talk as if you're equals.

[ Appearances are deceiving, etc. ]

... Alright.

[ Weird, but he's not going to question it. Everything is kinda weird in this place, anyway.

Yamato is going to walk over to a table at this point so he can put down his plate and gesture with both hands, it feels more natural. ]

I'm amazed, you guys managed to put this wedding together so quickly.

[overstrain]

[ Terry lowers his voice so that only Yamato can hear. ]

It's technically not an official wedding without all the licenses and stuff, but it's good enough for them. And that's what matters.

[ Let them have their fairy tale wedding and don't worry about the real life consequences. Yeah. ]

So it's really an elaborate wedding-themed party. It's one that we need for morale. Some of us have powers that help put things together quickly, so it's no problem for us.

[ It's like Max's safehouse for cats. Like Marie running around in a cartoon dog suit. Morale is the most important.

Yamato nods. ]

[ From what he had seen in Rei's dungeon, most fo the people here have deep-seated bad memories. Such things could affect their ability to fight and lave this place. ]
