[ You know what? Now's a good a time for this as any. When the Attendants send the call out to everybody on 9/4, Kido takes advantage of everybody being together to give them the address to the house she, Terry, and Rei are staying at, and asks them to meet there on 9/8 at noon if they're able to make it.

The original point of a meeting was to recruit for a gang, but with shit going down and people disappearing and personalities splitting off, it's turned into Kido needing to reach out to anybody who's a Persona user and consolidate everything that they know about everything. Personas. Shadows. The town itself. Anything.

If you're directionally challenged, it'll be easy to spot the house on Sunday afternoon because it's the only house on the block with two dozen crows perched on every inch of roof and telephone line there is around the house, and a five meter wide spider crab hanging around on the front yard, its front pincers bound so it can't snap at anybody, but it still scuttles around irately. ]

Sorry about the lack of furniture... Take a seat where you can find space, either on the couch or the floor. There's rice, miso soup, and gyudon in the kitchen if you're hungry; go ahead and help yourselves. We've got lots to talk about today.

That crab tried to stab me, so there's no competition at all, is there? You guys had better finish every last piece of it.

[ Mondo hums in response. ]

So it's just Terry tryinna get Kido's attention?

[ Sorry Kido, this just amuses him too much. The two do make a good pair. ]

He doesn't need to do that either!!

[ AAAAAAAAa nobody's supposed to know they're a pair anyways, she's going to cry inside, let's not talk about this here with so many people ]

[ Meanwhile, Terry comes back through the front door and carries a bunch of crab legs in one hand and the crab body in the other and walks happily to the kitchen. He definitely tore them off the body...

Terrence. Enkidu and Mondo don't get crab.

[ There's an "okaaaay" coming from the kitchen. Whether he's serious or not... who knows. ]

[ Mondo was about to tease her some more with "because he's gotten it already?" but swallows it back hearing what Kido said. ]

Hey, c'mon, Kido! It's just a joke!! At least let Enkidu has some!!

[ If Mondo had gotten those words out, maybe Kido would have kicked him out of the house haha ]

Nope. Jokes can be mean too. You'll apologize, won't you?

Mondo doesn't actually dislike getting scolded by Kido, though (????). No one really scolds him so it's kinda... new. He sits in a seiza and hangs his head low like a guilty child while he gets Kido's scolding, eventually relaxing his position, rubbing the back of his head like sulking child. ]

O, ou... my bad. [ He looks up then. ] ...Can we get some crab?

[reveilation]

[ Wow. Nobody ever sits seiza in front of her, so this is a new experience for her too. She can't help but smile— more like she wants to laugh and is trying to hold it in, than anything, but she fails that and the laugh escapes despite her best efforts. ]

Apology accepted. I will allow both you and Enkidu some crab.

[trabryu]

Cool!

[ Kido's laugh is rare, but it feels like Mondo's been seeing that more often than ever, and that surely boosts up his mood that isn't really bad in the first place. It's contagious, and he laughs too. ]

Heh. Kami-sama Hotoke-sama Kido-sama!! We will treasure this blessing!!

[ He'll get up to the kitchen then to see if Terry needs anything. ]

[ Meanwhile, Terry hasn't gotten the news that Mondo and Enkidu are allowed fo eat crab, so when he sees Mondo walking into the kitchen, he'll just... gently turn him around and move him out of the kitchen. ]

No temptation for the ones not allowed.

[ ???

Anyway, Terry is holding a very hot ladle in his hand, so if Mondo doesn't move away from the kitchen, he might get a ladle to the face. ]

[trabryu]

[ Hot ladle... threatening. ]

O, oi! Kido said it's fine!! I apologised!!

[ He has his hands up... he came in peace. ]

Ask her if you don't believe me!!

[ Moooommmm ]

[ He believes Mondo, but he's just having way too much fun with this. ]

Kiiiidooooo, did you lift the crab ban from Mondo and Enkidu?

[ He calls out from the kitchen. He's not going anywhere with that hot ladle of his.</small. ]

[ ... Who is Mom in this situation? ]

Why? Is Mondo doing something that warrants reinstating the ban?

[ She calls back from the living room, because she is not above reinstating bans. But there's his answer, at least. ]

Nooo, just wondering!

[ Hehehehe.

Anyway, Terry lowers his hand with the ladle and goes back to cooking the crab. They're a nice red color now, and the legs have been broken up to fit in the pot because they're so damn long. ]

[ Mom is Kido, of course.

Mondo glares at Terry like a little brother glares at his older brother with a "I told ya!!" look in his face, crossing his arms. ]

Tch. I was gonna help ya out but I guess ya don't need a hand.

[overstrain]

[ Kido and Mondo may have traces of tsun in their heart, but Terry's the one that has a bit of yan that has... its rare moments. He looks over at Mondo with a smile while stirring the pot with the ladle. ]

If you're not gonna help, you don't need to be in the kitchen, right?
