[open] 9/8 hirajiro mystery gang
[ You know what? Now's a good a time for this as any. When the Attendants send the call out to everybody on 9/4, Kido takes advantage of everybody being together to give them the address to the house she, Terry, and Rei are staying at, and asks them to meet there on 9/8 at noon if they're able to make it.
The original point of a meeting was to recruit for a gang, but with shit going down and people disappearing and personalities splitting off, it's turned into Kido needing to reach out to anybody who's a Persona user and consolidate everything that they know about everything. Personas. Shadows. The town itself. Anything.
If you're directionally challenged, it'll be easy to spot the house on Sunday afternoon because it's the only house on the block with two dozen crows perched on every inch of roof and telephone line there is around the house, and a five meter wide spider crab hanging around on the front yard, its front pincers bound so it can't snap at anybody, but it still scuttles around irately. ]
Sorry about the lack of furniture... Take a seat where you can find space, either on the couch or the floor. There's rice, miso soup, and gyudon in the kitchen if you're hungry; go ahead and help yourselves. We've got lots to talk about today.
[ Feel free to use this log to discuss anything your character is interested in or is looking into, whether it's plot clues gained from bonuses or discovered through asking questions in the logs, methods for getting through the current dungeon, how people are making enough to stop sleeping on the streets, etc.
Please write your own toplevel for each point of discussion. ]

Happy birthday, Red.
[ Kido then turns to address Pikachu, because Red is mute at the moment and can't say no. ]
What kind of cake do you want, Pikachu? Chocolate or strawberry?

[That..... doesn't really answer Kido's question. Welp. Red is going to have to be Pikachu's spokesperson now.]
...He... he likes chocolate cake.
[Red doesn't, though. Nope. He hates chocolate cake. (No he doesn't.)]

[ Kido's going to bake you a small birthday cake and you'd better eat it, mister /: ]

Th... Thank you.
[You know. On Pikachu's behalf.]

[ Red can think what he wants. Kido says her piece and heads back to the kitchen; she doesn't make a big deal of it, seeing as Red doesn't look like the sort of person to make a big deal about anything, so it's simply going to be a cake that she's going to hand to Pikachu and Pikachu can share with whoever he wants.
The smallest baking pan she has, though, is a round six inch pan, so... it ends up being a pretty large cake in the end. Three layers of chocolate cake with buttercream in between, but at least the frosting on top is plain and nothing indicates it's a birthday cake.
Half an hour to prep and bake, half an hour to frost and chill, and she's back in an hour with a plate with a slice of cake and a fork in one hand to give to Pikachu, and a container with the rest of the cake in the other to give to Red. ]
Here you are, Pikachu. It'll keep moist in the fridge for about five days, so you can enjoy the rest throughout the week.
