[ You know what? Now's a good a time for this as any. When the Attendants send the call out to everybody on 9/4, Kido takes advantage of everybody being together to give them the address to the house she, Terry, and Rei are staying at, and asks them to meet there on 9/8 at noon if they're able to make it.

The original point of a meeting was to recruit for a gang, but with shit going down and people disappearing and personalities splitting off, it's turned into Kido needing to reach out to anybody who's a Persona user and consolidate everything that they know about everything. Personas. Shadows. The town itself. Anything.

If you're directionally challenged, it'll be easy to spot the house on Sunday afternoon because it's the only house on the block with two dozen crows perched on every inch of roof and telephone line there is around the house, and a five meter wide spider crab hanging around on the front yard, its front pincers bound so it can't snap at anybody, but it still scuttles around irately. ]

Sorry about the lack of furniture... Take a seat where you can find space, either on the couch or the floor. There's rice, miso soup, and gyudon in the kitchen if you're hungry; go ahead and help yourselves. We've got lots to talk about today.

[ High quality rations, imagine hearing that but not about cake. Maybe Michi will be lucky and Red and Pikachu will share his cake. Kido can't tell the difference between RO and Michi so she'll just smile and it won't matter. ]

There's plenty in the kitchen, so feel free to eat as much as you want.

[ ...Though, looking at the number of times everybody's refilled their bowls, maybe that won't hold true for forever. ]

...You might have to compete with some of those other guys soon, though.

[ And this is why Michi takes the next bowl and practically inhales the food. Did she even chew...? Yes. Yes, she did.

[ What happened to protecting humans? The humans will starve. ]

[ She's not the one paying for groceries, and it makes her happy to see people enjoy her food, so it's a win in her book either way. ]

[ looks at below thread where akira's having a gyudon eating contest with michi... That's how Terry feels right now--a boatload of unsure. He doesn't need to eat a lot, so he's good with one bowl. ]

Should I... buy more ingredients from the market...?

That's probably for the best...

[ She stocked up in the past few days and the entire house has already been eaten clean. ]

Can you get more ingredients, and some extra bags of rice? Along with ingredients for whatever you want for dinner tomorrow.

[ Terry tries to recount gyudon ingredients along with everything else, but he'll try to keep that in mind. ]

Yeah, I can do that.

[ ... ]

But first, can you wash the dishes? The bowls are stacking really high in the sink and if everyone's gonna eat more, then I don't want them to topple over and we have a bigger mess to deal with...

Yeah, I'll take care of the dishes. Tell everybody to just reuse their bowls for now and get their own servings— but also get a bit of everything. If somebody grabs just meat and no rice, kick them out.

[ Make your own gyudon bowls, punks, but you'd better eat your veggies along with it. ]

I mean... I can tell them that, but I can't enforce that when I'm out buying ingredients.

[ He also doesn't want to be such a stick in the mud. ]

I can't be at two places at once.

Then you'd better come back quick, before I'll have to dig into Rei's snack storage to keep everybody fed or something.

[ Speedrun grocery shopping for Rei if not for Kido. She waves to the door to shoo him out. ]

Fine, fine. I'll be quick about it.

[ It's one thing to be fast himself, but he's stuck like everyone else if the cashier isn't as fast. lmao. Also, this feels incredibly domestic. It's been a long time since he felt like this and it kinda makes him happy. At least he'll leave through the front door normally this time. ]

[ Every store should have those self-checkouts so Terry could just be everywhere all at once. But yeah..... This is the domestic life Kido missed, where all she had to worry about from day to day was what to make for dinner and keeping the hideout clean. There was no death or dying and it was nice while it lasted. ]

[Slowly, Akira looks over at Michi.]

[He doesn't even know Michi, or her status as dummy.]

[But he stands up and disappears briefly back into the kitchen, returning with another bowl. He refuses to be outdone.]

[ Michi eyes Akira as he returns with another bowl.

you wanna go, akira?? she'll eat everything!! She quickly finishes the bowl. Dummy androids have no sense of savoring things, but they do know what they like and dislike--and she definitely likes this bowl of gyudon. She walks into the kitchen to get another bowl and starts eating. ]

[He will go, he silently decides as he meets Michi's eyes. And no one's informed him that he's engaging in an eating contest with a machine, so there's no way this could end badly for him at all.]

[Bowl five, let's do it.]

[ She is currently on her eighth bowl. Akira might want to rethink his life decisions right now... She has a sharp look in his eyes as opposed to the blank face she usually has. Good quality rations are rare when it doesn't involve Kido, therefore, she will take as much as she can before her original shoos her out of the house.

Though it's ironic that the dummy is "getting along" with people more than her original. ]

How many of those have you had?

[It's not condescending, but it's that tone where you're trying to sound casual but you're actually dead serious.]

[ "This is my eighth bowl, human. I will be eating much more to fulfill my ration standards."

Well, that just about confirms that Michi isn't human as she continues to eat her gyudon with a resumed blank face. ]

[ "I do not know how the procedures are done, but rations are necessary for me to perform actions."

She's midway through her eighth bowl... She'll even sip some warm tea in between. ]

[Akira keeps eating. He's never been stopped before by something like that. Please don't hurt yourself, kid.]

[ "You are welcome to try, human." Is what Michi says before she finishes her bowl and sets it on the floor before her. She reaches for another one until the real RO comes along, realizing that her dummy is eating so much food in the house, and grabs Michi by the back of her collar. They look exactly the same, down to their clothes. The only thing that's different is that one can seemingly emote and the other can't. ]

I apologize--was she eating all your food?

[ She looks at Akira. Michi looks unapologetic though, her face blank. ]

...It's not my food.

[Akira doesn't expect the identical twin, but he takes it in stride, still leaning back against the wall. Still eating bowls of gyudon.]

She was just going at it.

[ "I must complete up to my tenth bowl..." ]

Your tenth??

[ RO looks in disbelief and Michi doesn't look like she gives a fuck. ]

Was this made for someone else then...?

[Urk. He might be able to do that, maybe, but.... at what cost... Akira frowns at the empty bowls beside himself and Michi. Her pile is still bigger.]

They might have just been left out... there was a lot of bowls on the kitchen counter for people to take.

[He looks between the two of them.]

Yes, though she does require rations to function, this amount is just pushing it...

[ RO sighs. ]

Do not eat any more. These are for humans. We have rations at home.
