[open] 11/9 hirajiro mystery gang
[ Over the past week and a half, either Kido or Akira have been going around asking Persona users to attend a meeting at noon on the 9th, with the meeting place being the first floor of the castle in the forest. People who Kido thinks will require dragging to the castle, she makes sure to find and drag over, since she wants everybody to be there in order to share their thoughts and get everybody on the same page. It's rare that everybody comes together like this, so she wants to make the most of it.
There isn't much in the way of furniture and the fridge in the Velvet Room is broken, so Kido can't rely on the kitchen to cook unending gyudon like she did last time. She'd stuck her head into the train this morning and saw something she really didn't need to see, so everybody else is also banned from entering the Velvet Room until the meeting is concluded. Instead, blankets are laid out on the ground and there's a stack of bento boxes which will be easy to eat while sitting outside. There's around three times as many bentos as the number of people, since she knows there's people who'd want seconds (or thirds or fourths or fourteenths... there's a limited amount this time, so no eating contests!!) and if there are any left over, people can take them home. ]
Is everybody settled? Food is on the throne over there, and there's barley tea and cups on the ground next to it, so eat up. Feel free to go back and get more if you're still hungry, but wait until everybody has the chance to get one first. When you're finished, put the box and chopsticks into the bag in the corner so I can wash them later. The cats have their own food, so do not feed the cats anything from the bento. If I catch you, you're not eating for the rest of the meeting.
[ She can't be sure if there's anything in the boxes that might be bad for cats, so it's a blanket ban, sorry cats... There are quite a few in the area, though, including Kano and Shiro. Kano especially does not get food. ]
Now, the first thing we need to talk about...
[ There are a few topics she wants to make sure they discuss, and then the floor is open for anything else people want to bring up, whether it's plot clues, mysteries people are looking into, general questions to bring up to the group, etc. Feel free to post a new toplevel for each new topic to discuss. Since it's a large open mingle, there may be threadjacking.
Also as a reminder, this month the reward for request 12 (two threads with fourth wall characters) is a plot clue in the form of a direct answer to any question your character may have. If there's something that comes up in the discussion that the characters are unsure of and think the Attendants might know (it's possible they might not), it's an option for getting those questions answered. ]

...He sounds difficult to work with. His mission is the same as ours, though, isn't it? To get out of this place. If we combine forces, he doesn't need to take things too far, right?

I guess those other guys who's been working with him would know better.
[ That other guy is Terrence. Maybe they shouldn't get involved with them at all. She definitely doesn't want to work with him. ]
As long as he's not giving you a hard time, I supposed it's fine to just keep your distance. I still think it's best to get as much help as we can, though. It's not like it's a competition; we should all be helping each other out.
no subject
Just... be careful around him. He knows exactly how to hurt people if he decides they're in his way.
no subject
Yeah, I get it. It's a fair warning, so we'll all be careful.
[ She doesn't usually make a habit of going up to people she doesn't know, being much more comfortable around people she's already familiar with, but if they're twins— ]
Do you guys look exactly alike? Or can I tell you guys apart just by personality, like with Terrence?
no subject
[And he'll indicate it on his own hairline.]
He acts really friendly around people, too. [Which is... super not like Sasuke, and he knows it.]
no subject
[ Sort of. She brushes her bangs aside, and it ssssssort of stays? Her hair is always sort of a mess at the front because of the hoodie anyways, but getting rid of a hair parting seems easier to her.
Personality, though. Yeah. Sasuke's personality is pretty distinctive. ]
But it seems like we'll be able to tell him apart from you just by speaking a little, so that's good. This is all just a precaution, anyways.
no subject
He just looks away, sullen.]

[Akira speaks up from his corner, his first bento of the night open and half eaten.]
If you need to be with him for any reason, just be aware that he's smart, but doesn't trust anyone at all. So you probably shouldn't trust him too much either.
[Does Akira trust Yuusuke? No. Is Akira attached to Yuusuke? ...A bit.]
no subject
[ At the core, that's all Kido really cares about. Personality doesn't matter, methods don't matter, it's the intention behind everything that she cares most about. Growing up with somebody like Kano, all she can trust is intention. ]
no subject
...I don't think that morals factor into his decisions at all. Agreements do.
We made a pretty important deal, and he kept his word.
no subject
Something like a hit man, then, who works off contracts? With the right terms, working together wouldn't be impossible... I'm not advocating it one way or another, but if he comes to one of us with a proposal, we would be able to trust in that?
[ The contract, regardless of the people signing it. ]
no subject
[Akira had no choice but to trust him back then, because there was nothing to lose; if Yuusuke turned around and killed him, the likelihood was that Akira would die anyway. Anyone could have died back there.]
...He's the type of person who pulls one over on you if he senses weakness, I think.
no subject
[ Sasuke, your brother sounds like an asshole. ]
Since you seem to know him the best, aside from Sasuke, if he approaches us as a group, can we point him to you to handle?
no subject
[He doesn't mind that. Despite being so conflicted over Yuusuke, he'd like to at least think that he has a better chance of getting a good outcome with the guy.]
no subject
[ Terry will have to handle Terrence, and everybody else looks like they're reasonable people. If they're forced to band together, it should go well. Maybe. ]
no subject
>Sasuke will remember this.]
