[open] 11/9 hirajiro mystery gang
[ Over the past week and a half, either Kido or Akira have been going around asking Persona users to attend a meeting at noon on the 9th, with the meeting place being the first floor of the castle in the forest. People who Kido thinks will require dragging to the castle, she makes sure to find and drag over, since she wants everybody to be there in order to share their thoughts and get everybody on the same page. It's rare that everybody comes together like this, so she wants to make the most of it.
There isn't much in the way of furniture and the fridge in the Velvet Room is broken, so Kido can't rely on the kitchen to cook unending gyudon like she did last time. She'd stuck her head into the train this morning and saw something she really didn't need to see, so everybody else is also banned from entering the Velvet Room until the meeting is concluded. Instead, blankets are laid out on the ground and there's a stack of bento boxes which will be easy to eat while sitting outside. There's around three times as many bentos as the number of people, since she knows there's people who'd want seconds (or thirds or fourths or fourteenths... there's a limited amount this time, so no eating contests!!) and if there are any left over, people can take them home. ]
Is everybody settled? Food is on the throne over there, and there's barley tea and cups on the ground next to it, so eat up. Feel free to go back and get more if you're still hungry, but wait until everybody has the chance to get one first. When you're finished, put the box and chopsticks into the bag in the corner so I can wash them later. The cats have their own food, so do not feed the cats anything from the bento. If I catch you, you're not eating for the rest of the meeting.
[ She can't be sure if there's anything in the boxes that might be bad for cats, so it's a blanket ban, sorry cats... There are quite a few in the area, though, including Kano and Shiro. Kano especially does not get food. ]
Now, the first thing we need to talk about...
[ There are a few topics she wants to make sure they discuss, and then the floor is open for anything else people want to bring up, whether it's plot clues, mysteries people are looking into, general questions to bring up to the group, etc. Feel free to post a new toplevel for each new topic to discuss. Since it's a large open mingle, there may be threadjacking.
Also as a reminder, this month the reward for request 12 (two threads with fourth wall characters) is a plot clue in the form of a direct answer to any question your character may have. If there's something that comes up in the discussion that the characters are unsure of and think the Attendants might know (it's possible they might not), it's an option for getting those questions answered. ]

... He'll probably know that you're coming.
[ Terry looks unsure. Does he want to subject someone else under that hideous torture? No! ]
Wait, why can't you just talk to the smaller guy again?!
no subject
I don't wanna talk, I just want what they have, and that guy doesn't have it.
[It's a stealth mission, Terry.]
no subject
Terry gets out a ziploc bag. Jiro can see that there's a food can label inside it. ]
I know this looks ridiculous, but keep this with you. It bounces magic back once.
[ Does Jiro's suit even have pockets?? ]
Just in case.
no subject
How!?
[He has pockets, and like nine pouches. He's Batman.]
no subject
[ But it looks like a normal food can label that can be torn easily. That's probably why it's inside a ziploc bag. ]
I guess they ran out of flimsy paper to use? I dunno.
no subject
What does bouncing magic back mean? Is it like a mirror and they curse themselves?
[He reaches into one of the belt pouches and pulls out a gemstone. It's flat and transparent with gold flecks in it.]
You know anything about this? Does it just repel bullets or is it magic bouncing shit too?
no subject
[ ... ]
I don't think you can make weapons out of it either, so you'd be out of luck. But you can try?
no subject
You're a... clone. So you know where the other you is staying?
no subject
[ He'll just give it to him straight. There's no point in dodging this topic.
Though he sighs after all that, staying quiet for about five seconds. ]
He's been staying at the inn sometimes, though it looks like he sleeps wherever he feels like at the moment. Right now, he's in the market street.
no subject
[Jiro's going to the inn to check out whatever room Terrence has been staying in.]
no subject
However, when Jiro leaves, he might see someone who looks like Terry who's sitting on top of boxes and taking a nap with his head down on higher boxes. ]

Jiro presses a button on his left glove, activating a useful feature of his suit that conveniently started working again this morning. Invisibility cloaking. It's probably useless for Terrence and he's only invisible to the regular Hirajiro residents on the street, but he has no way of knowing that. He looks around for something to throw at Terrence and wake him up. He can't stalk somebody if they're sleeping. Finding nothing available, Jiro just throws Natsuo's gemstone, hitting the box near Terrence's head.]

WAKE UP!
no subject
[ Terrence lifts his head.
From Jiro's point of view, it looks like Terrence had gotten up from the boxes and starts walking elsewhere. However, the real Terrence stays sitting on the box and yawns. When "Terrence" from Jiro's point of view turns the corner, he'll be gone and when Jiro comes back, he'll find Terrence sitting on the boxes again. ]
no subject
He obviously knows Jiro's there, or he wouldn't have faked walking around the corner. Invisibility is useless, and he will save that for later in case there's a battery or something. He really has no idea what how this works. Jiro then just walks up to Terrence.]
Hey. How many cards do you guys have?
[A direct approach.]
no subject
[ A direct approach gets a direct answer. But is that the right answer? Probably not. Terrence still has his head down on the higher stack of boxes while sitting and looking lazily over at Jiro. ]
no subject
Where's the short kid?
[He doesn't have time for Terrence's bullshit.]
no subject
Somewhere.
[ He could find out, but even if he did, he wouldn't tell Jiro. He looked like he just woke up from a nap anyway, so that's all the more reason why he wouldn't know... probably. ]
