[ Over the past week and a half, either Kido or Akira have been going around asking Persona users to attend a meeting at noon on the 9th, with the meeting place being the first floor of the castle in the forest. People who Kido thinks will require dragging to the castle, she makes sure to find and drag over, since she wants everybody to be there in order to share their thoughts and get everybody on the same page. It's rare that everybody comes together like this, so she wants to make the most of it.

There isn't much in the way of furniture and the fridge in the Velvet Room is broken, so Kido can't rely on the kitchen to cook unending gyudon like she did last time. She'd stuck her head into the train this morning and saw something she really didn't need to see, so everybody else is also banned from entering the Velvet Room until the meeting is concluded. Instead, blankets are laid out on the ground and there's a stack of bento boxes which will be easy to eat while sitting outside. There's around three times as many bentos as the number of people, since she knows there's people who'd want seconds (or thirds or fourths or fourteenths... there's a limited amount this time, so no eating contests!!) and if there are any left over, people can take them home. ]

Is everybody settled? Food is on the throne over there, and there's barley tea and cups on the ground next to it, so eat up. Feel free to go back and get more if you're still hungry, but wait until everybody has the chance to get one first. When you're finished, put the box and chopsticks into the bag in the corner so I can wash them later. The cats have their own food, so do not feed the cats anything from the bento. If I catch you, you're not eating for the rest of the meeting.

[ She can't be sure if there's anything in the boxes that might be bad for cats, so it's a blanket ban, sorry cats... There are quite a few in the area, though, including Kano and Shiro. Kano especially does not get food. ]

Now, the first thing we need to talk about...

[ There are a few topics she wants to make sure they discuss, and then the floor is open for anything else people want to bring up, whether it's plot clues, mysteries people are looking into, general questions to bring up to the group, etc. Feel free to post a new toplevel for each new topic to discuss. Since it's a large open mingle, there may be threadjacking.

Also as a reminder, this month the reward for request 12 (two threads with fourth wall characters) is a plot clue in the form of a direct answer to any question your character may have. If there's something that comes up in the discussion that the characters are unsure of and think the Attendants might know (it's possible they might not), it's an option for getting those questions answered. ]

[ We're just that starved for info. It's been two months since the last meeting and all Kido sees are hundreds of more questions, and no answers to anything they'd been wondering about before. ]

Maybe it comes in two pieces like last time, and you're only getting half. Where does the fortune teller stay? I'll talk to them.

The thing is, I can't pinpoint their location. But I did find them at the school when we were taking shelter from the flood. Maybe they'll come out another time...? Also, they brushed me off when I held their arm. I didn't want to let go no matter what, but they were... really physically strong.

Yeah, I'd struggle as hard as I can too if somebody just grabbed my arm out of nowhere.

[ wtf Terry. Kido doesn't blame the fortune teller at all if that's what happened. ]

No! Like... they were ridiculously strong!

[ ???? Does that not seem weird to you Kido ]

People are capable of superhuman strength in dire situations.

[ Something something moms lifting entire buses off their kids ]

[overstrain]

No, Kido I mean... stronger than me at full power kind of strong!

[ Why doesn't she get it??? aaaaaaaaaaaaaa ]

[ Why doesn't he just say that to begin with?? ]

Then, definitely not human. Who else is stronger than you besides...?

[ All she knows is that Terrence whooped his ass, but she can't imagine him doing this sort of fortune telling nonsense. ]

[overstrain]

[ Yeah, don't bring him up... ]

Souji and Minato.

[ Strictly in a physical sense. So many other people might as well be stronger than him in other aspects... ]

[reveilation]

They're definitely the sort to do this. It was probably Souji.

[ Minato doesn't look like he has the patience to sit around in a booth all day handing out cryptic messages. ]

[overstrain]

... The problem with that is that I can still get through with pinpointing for Minato and Souji, but I can't with that fortune teller. Disguises or not, I'd know. Besides, Souji and Minato weren't even here when the fortune teller first showed up.

[ He can see holes into his own theory, but it's the best one he can come up with. ]

[reveilation]

There's no reason to believe they were here already, and then pretended to have just arrived when they did.

[ And if they're powerful enough to block some things from being touched by Terry's ability, there's also no reason why that can't change on whim either. None of it proves or disproves anything; it just keeps the possibility open, because it'd really suck if a possibility were set aside and never returned to, and it was the right idea. ]

...What dirt do you have on Minato and Souji?

[ Give her blackmail material, Terry. She could use the leverage. ]

[overstrain]

... I can't tell you because it's worse than the kissing memory we got.

[ Kido........... ]

[reveilation]

[ ... ]

What could be worse than that memory we're never talking about again?

[ If there's any possibility of something helping, she wants to make sure it's fully explored before ditching. Maybe after this she won't be such a stickler for the idea and let certain things slide. ]

[overstrain]

[ Minato didn't seem as affected and maybe Souji wouldn't either and honestly, he just said it was worse than the kissing memory because he didn't want her to ask him on blackmail material...

He looks at Kido. ]

If I tell you, you're going to punch me in record time despite me warning you.

[reveilation]

[ It's sure been a while since she got to punch Terry. Kido looks nervous, but she still raises her fist in preparation. ]

I'll take those chances.

[overstrain]

I don't though! Lower your fist!!

[ HELP.... ]

[reveilation]

[ What if it's important though!!? Kido does not lower her fist. ]

If you can't tell me, then tell Akira. If there's any chance it could be an important memory, no matter how slight, we need to at least get that information out there.

[ Except the kissing one, because that is clearly an outlier. ]

[overstrain]

[ Things between him and Akira are a bit awkward as of the timing of the tag, so he doesn't think he can just waltz up to him and--

No, fuck it. He'd rather tell Akira instead of Kido. It'll be way less embarrassing. HE CAN'T TELL HIS GIRLFRIEND ABOUT THIS SORT OF THING... ]

... Fine. Anyway, the other thing is that Minato hates these.

[ He gets out the scalp massager. ]

You can try to bother him with this.

[ Terry is a good boyfriend, while I have to apologize for Kido shoving this onto Akira.

Kido takes the scalp massager and stares at it. ...Yeah, she can imagine Terry just walking up to a sleeping Minato and doing that to his head. ]

Why do you have this? You were worried about balding?

[overstrain]

The cats like it.

[ Nobody seems to believe him on their true usage............ ]

[ Kido doesn't believe him either. She pats him on the head. ]

Well, as long as you have that, you don't have to worry about your hair thinning when I do that. Good for you.

[overstrain]

[ Instead of "Emily" they should just make his alias "Cassandra" because nobody believes him... ]

I'd rather you use your hand just like now though.

[ Yeah. ]

These hands are going to be occupied petting cats. Because that's what you're supposed to use to pet cats.

[ Terry huffs, takes the scalp massager back, and goes to grab Shirou. It takes some effort to catch him, but Terry knows how to handle cats, even when they try to dodge him. Terry holds Shirou and walks back to Kido, while using the scalp massager on him.

He looks placated, though Terry is only using that on top of Shirou's head instead of all over his face. ]

See? He likes it!

...What the hell are you doing chasing cats around like that when they clearly don't like it? Leave them alone, Terrence.

[ He may be proving his point, but he's also getting other points stacked against him. Don't just chase cats around the castle like that, oh my god ]
