[ after fucking off from the dungeon, leaving the daitengu all alone and sad (invite them too, guys :'( ), it's time to have fun. at whatever agreed upon time, the ou hirajiro gang is here to finally get some good r&r. rei has been extremely excited so she's early in front of the bathhouse, holding a bag of her belongings. she waves down anyone she sees. come faster!! let's get this show on the road! ]

Bathhouse time, hoooooo!!

[ for things in the bathhouse, there are your usual spa options: a sauna, jacuzzi, pedicures, manicures, that kind of stuff. have fun, everyone. ]

[ That sure is an intense look, Rio. What did milk do to you? ]

Do you not like milk, Rio? It's healthy for you, but if you don't like the taste, there's strawberry flavor too.

Oh-! It's not that I don't like it...

I was just thinking that since I'm still growing, I should have some.

Well, it wouldn't hurt.

[ Kano drinks milk but he's still a shorty, so she doesn't know how much good it'll do. ]

You'll want to eat some food too, not just milk. That'll help you grow taller. What are you in the mood for today?

[She hums thoughtfully, drifting over to look at the foods.]

Maybe some snacks? -Ooh, they have candy, too.

[She's peering at the cookies in particular.]

Yeah, all of this looks really good. They're all light things too, so we won't just fall asleep after.

[ She's going to steer Rio towards the sandwiches first, though, the little finger sandwiches cut up into cubes with a toothpick stuck in them to hold it all together. ]

We'll have some of these first, before dessert. They go well with milk, and I'll have some sort of tea.

[But candy and cookieeeees. She stares longingly at them even as she's directed towards the sandwiches.]

Okaaaaaay.

[Rio, are you really seventeen.]

[ Are they both seventeen but Rio acts seven and Kido's forced to be twenty seven and look after a dozen kids because Terry can't be trusted as the adult...

She's more or less gotten Rio's blessing, so she takes two plates and fills half of each with sandwiches, the other half with some sort of cut fruit, and hands the plates to Rio. ]

Can you go find a table? I'll grab the drinks.

Uh-huh, leave it to me!

[And she'll go ahead and take the plates over to the table, setting them across from each other.]

[ Kido comes back with two glasses of strawberry milk, because she supposes she never gets the chance to drink it unless she finds a vending machine that has the stuff. Milk goes well with sandwiches? Yeah. It's like dessert, but somewhat healthy too. ]

[She'll cheerfully take the milk, sliding it closer to her food.]

Did you have fun, Kido?

I... uh. Had new experiences.

[ Is that the best she can say? Yeah. ]

Some of the other guys were being annoying, but I got to spend time with people I like, so I enjoyed that. How about you?

It was fun! I don't usually go to places like this.

[Way too vulnerable. But here, she's got enough do-gooders who would absolutely jump to her defense, and there shouldn't be anyone in this world who knows enough about what she is to want to hunt her down.

She'll start on the fruits.]

Yeah, it's a bit too fancy for my tastes. I'm surprised Terrence got the price down so we could all afford to go.

[ Some people are under the impression that Terry's paying for everything, but... that's fine. Kido sips at her milk. It's not her problem. ]

He does seem to have a knack for haggling, doesn't he? He offered to help me haggle for the price of a phone, too.

Oh, do you have one? We should exchange numbers so it'll be easier to keep in contact.

[ And since she also doesn't know where Rio lives, to be able to find her in town if she needs to. ]

Ah, okay.

[There isn't really any good reason to turn her down, the whole point of having a phone is so people can contact you. So she'll go ahead and swap numbers.]

Great. Now we'll be able to keep in touch. Feels more like a team this way too.

[ She really misses being part of a team... like, an actual structured one, not this loose hodgepodge of people that haven't really come together yet. ]

[A team, huh...?

She's more like a guest member though.]
