[ after fucking off from the dungeon, leaving the daitengu all alone and sad (invite them too, guys :'( ), it's time to have fun. at whatever agreed upon time, the ou hirajiro gang is here to finally get some good r&r. rei has been extremely excited so she's early in front of the bathhouse, holding a bag of her belongings. she waves down anyone she sees. come faster!! let's get this show on the road! ]

Bathhouse time, hoooooo!!

[ for things in the bathhouse, there are your usual spa options: a sauna, jacuzzi, pedicures, manicures, that kind of stuff. have fun, everyone. ]

Hmm, then maybe he's the normal villager who happens to catch the prince's eye? Because of his kindness and strength, the king assigned him to become the prince's personal assistant and from there, they fell in love!

[ she read too many fairy tales... ]

[ As long as that half shut up about it and never talk to Kido about that, she can live with it.

Kido laughs at this story, because personal assistant doesn't really suit Terry either. ]

Maybe something more like a prince from a different kingdom. One with really weird customs, so he's really weird himself, and enjoyed learning about all the new things in the prince's kingdom. The prince really liked that about him. And then they fell in love.

[ kido gave a sappy fairy tale too. this is the best. rei claps her hands together while still lying on her stomach. she's practically glowing. ]

Ohh, I like that a lot! That's such a good story! It's something straight out of a fairy tale.

[ rei's new art project is to turn this story into a picture book. ]

You're so good at this, neechan.

[ Good at making up fairy tales? For whatever reason, that makes Kido flush and dip her head. Embarrassing. If Rei draws out this picture book and somebody asks where the original story came from, she's going to die out of mortification. ]

It's... just a made up story. Anyways, uh... Let's eat.

[ Can't talk if your mouth is full of food. ]

[ if she doesn't get all Messed Up after her dungeon, she will absolutely make that picture book. she'll make sure that the two princes look just like kido and terry as well :) ]

Oh, okay, let's eat!

[ that's a good enough distraction. she will pull out all the food from the plastic bags, but she's most excited about one of them. she holds out a candy for kido. ]

Here, I got this new flavour with Vice Leader.

[ "grasshopper". ]

Oh. A new flavor, huh?

[ It's a pretty green, and if it's not the usual lime or apple, then she thinks the new flavor must be something like melon or kiwi. She's wrong and immediately spits it back into the wrapper. This feels like déjà vu somehow. ]

Here, you can give this back to Vice Leader.

[ she does not take your gross spit-covered candy, kido, what the heck. ]

What's wrong? Was the wrong flavour inside?

[ It's in the wrapper. Minato would never be able to tell it's been opened. ]

Yeah. I don't really like- [ ....she doesn't know what flavor this is... ] green candy. I think I'll stick to things like chocolate.

[ And then Rei hands her chocolate covered crickets or something and Kido is going to abandon this fort too. ]

[ thanks for the good idea, card. if they had grasshopper candy for sale, they must have chocolate-covered crickets as well. she'll hold out the box. ]

Oh, then do you want to try these? It was also on promotion at the store.

[ This is why Kido gets a Shadow. She gets betrayed by her family left and right and the cricket chocolate is the last straw.

Crunchy is fine, but not when she feels little stringy legs in there, and she excuses herself to the bathroom so she can spit it out and never return. ]

[ she didn't mean to do this, neechan, it's not her fault :( ]
