[ On December 1st, Hirajiro's residential district goes through a minor change, which is having Terry's two-story house appear right next to the Black Cat house. With Orien's help, Terry bought the land that the house sits on. Anyway, the house has two floors. The entire first floor has a living room, kitchen, and a bathroom with sink, toilet, and shower. When you climb up the stairs, you'll reach the second floor, which has four bedrooms with a bathroom connecting two bedrooms together. The bathrooms can be locked from the inside only. There is no master bedroom nor bathroom in this house. One of the rooms are soundproof, but Terry is not telling anyone which one it is. You'll have to find that out for yourself. AC and heater are fully functional.

Terry sent out a message to all the Guests. For those who don't have phones, Orien personally delivered the message to those people himself. The message is as follows:

We solved the housing situation. Terry will not ask anyone to pay rent, but the house isn't furnished at all except for a refrigerator and a fireplace. You'll have to buy supplies and furniture on your own. There are several conditions you need to accept if you choose to live here:

1) Please do not destroy the house or cause property damage. If you do, you're paying for the damages.
2) Clean up after yourselves. A clean house means no bugs and good standard of living.
3) Do not steal/take anything from the Black Cat house. (this needs to be mentioned because he had several door stealing incidents)

The address/general directions to the location has been mentioned, which is basically next door to the Black Cat house.

Feel free to make your own top levels and stuff. ]

I'm leaning more on the Attendant side for this. Personal growth shouldn't matter to him... But you're strong. I'd bribe you to be on my side, if I were him.

[ Terry is being favored by the Kotengu because he's destructive, yeah. ]

I just find it weird, nya... if the Kotengu made the Attendants like this and made them to be Attendants in the first place, there must have been a reason, nya.

[ He doesn't want to be bribed... the last time he had to be "bribed" with the "I won't kill Jace if you join me", there were a lot of mistakes. The fact stands that he's still easily influenced though. ]

Hm... It could be that our Attendants are just weirdos. The other team mentioned that their Attendants weren't all that pleasant, and the same holds true for Akira's experience.

[ Maybe the other Attendants don't care about the journey and Minato and Souji are just insistent on it for whatever reason? ]

I thought the Kotengu would have tried to manipulate the Attendants to do more of what it wanted them to do, nya. I guess it's just as sloppy as the Daitengu are, nya.

[ He's heard about Rio's point of how the Daitengu didn't get rid of the offertory box. They were supposed to be almighty bird things and they can't even destroy a fucking box. ]

[ Kido shrugs, because the almighty bird things would probably be better off killing the Kotengu before any of them arrived here, but they didn't. ]

What to ask the Kotengu why he's so sloppy? I wouldn't be able to give you any better answer.

[ Terry thinks more about this. He already thinks the prospect of asking the crows to relay messages to the Kotengu is weird enough as it is, but they're trying and they might actually get something out of this. A reaction is better than nothing.

Wait, he just realized something. ]

The Kotengu, nya... if he can pull us from all kinds of worlds from different timelines, isn't that kinda worrying, nya? Since that was before even any of the Daitengu were defeated, except time somehow rewinds here, nya...?

[ Wait, wait, wait. He needs to stay on track this time instead of his train of thought fucking off to god knows where. ]

Minato, Souji, and the rest fought the Daitengu before, nya. From what I found out from the Migrants from other Hirajiros, it looks like the Dungeons open in the same order, nya. Then the group should have fought at least two of them already, and if they were fighting the Daitengu, I can assume that they fought the previous two too, nya. So if that already happened, but when we came, it's like... the beginning...

[ Time rewinding is hella weird, but it's true that there must have been some progress made when Minato and Souji were here last. ]

We know that this happened before, with our Attendants. And the other... teams [ Migrants? whatever term they're using ] might have been pulled here from a different time, but it's the same Hirajiro? It all has to be the same place. So either we're doomed to fail, or they are...

[ They have a nice Hirajiro. The other one is trashed. One direction is much easier than the other. ]

I'm trying to figure out if this is a linear timeline or multiple, nya. Linear timelines can look like multiple timelines too, but that involves time control, nya. Can I have some paper and pen, nya? I think it'll be easier if I draw it out instead, nya.

[ It sure is nice being aware of multiple worlds instead of having to try and prove that they exist in the first place, because he already knows they do. ]

It doesn't have to be time travel or alternate timelines! It could just be magic~!

[Having had many wild theories of his own over the last year, most of them were simply explained as "magic" because it was something he hadn't been that familiar with. Maybe everyone is worrying about this too much.]

Isn't time travel magic, nya...?

[ He always though time travel was bundled with magic, for the same reasoning: he can't find a good scientific way of explaining it. ]

No, it's physics.

[Toki considers time travel and any other theoretical math/science things possible, only the equations haven't been discovered yet. Magic is something else entirely. His world was full of hidden supernatural things he hadn't known about. They are separate concepts to him.]

What if someone controls that without any use of machines, nya? Would that be magic?

[ Since he knows someone who does... ]

Physics is about inherent forces and things and not machines and we don't use all of our brainpower or know everything about our environment, so I don't think the manipulation of time or the perceived manipulation of time as a non-mechanical endeavor is implausible or should be considered magic because you can never know what we're all actually capable of!

[It's said in one breath and Toki seems completely confident of all of this.]

[ Terry's eyes feels like they're spinning right now. That was way too many "big words" said all in one go and he's trying very hard to process this. ]

... Back in my home world or whatever, there was a person who was like... the personified concept of time and controlled it however she wanted, nya. Maybe they just... work differently depending on the world, nya?

[ Kido comes back with a pad of paper and a pen. ]

Tokidoki's smarter than you, Terry. I'd trust him on the science.

[ Magic and physics are the exact same thing when she's never gone to school, so whatever. ]

[ omfg. He's never gone to school for educational purposes either. Leave him alone.

But he takes those and starts drawing a diagram of some sort. It'll take him a while... ]

Yeah? You explained schematics to Red, right? And back when we were trying to put out the fire at the lake, you were telling me about how it could be a flammable liquid on top of the water. You knew what to test the water and the soil from the forest for too.

[ He's smart? But he's also like this, so who knows. ]

[He did explain that, though it was the wrong time for it.]

[ She had no idea what any of it meant, but you say something with enough confidence and people will believe you. She'll just do her best in screening good ideas from horribly bad ones. ]
