[ On December 1st, Hirajiro's residential district goes through a minor change, which is having Terry's two-story house appear right next to the Black Cat house. With Orien's help, Terry bought the land that the house sits on. Anyway, the house has two floors. The entire first floor has a living room, kitchen, and a bathroom with sink, toilet, and shower. When you climb up the stairs, you'll reach the second floor, which has four bedrooms with a bathroom connecting two bedrooms together. The bathrooms can be locked from the inside only. There is no master bedroom nor bathroom in this house. One of the rooms are soundproof, but Terry is not telling anyone which one it is. You'll have to find that out for yourself. AC and heater are fully functional.

Terry sent out a message to all the Guests. For those who don't have phones, Orien personally delivered the message to those people himself. The message is as follows:

We solved the housing situation. Terry will not ask anyone to pay rent, but the house isn't furnished at all except for a refrigerator and a fireplace. You'll have to buy supplies and furniture on your own. There are several conditions you need to accept if you choose to live here:

1) Please do not destroy the house or cause property damage. If you do, you're paying for the damages.
2) Clean up after yourselves. A clean house means no bugs and good standard of living.
3) Do not steal/take anything from the Black Cat house. (this needs to be mentioned because he had several door stealing incidents)

The address/general directions to the location has been mentioned, which is basically next door to the Black Cat house.

[ Terry sort of does this, offering to cook for people, but it must have been in response to something. The Kotengu doesn't even need to steal Minato's memories; he just tosses unimportant stuff out of his brain anyways. Past Minato didn't care what the reason was, as long as he got food out of the deal. ]

... All I remember is that we talked about it before we went water skiing, nya.

[ Rio needs a moment to remember names from two years back. Don't expect Terry to remember things from 40k years, please........ ]

[ Nobody should expect Minato to remember something from two months ago... He really should, since there's not much else going on in his life. All he knows is that if he promised Terry he was going to work on something, he did not do it. Never touched the stove to practice cooking or any of it. He sort of just treated it as a request with no end date, so he can put it off forever. ]

I really pissed you off that day. That's all I remember about it. We talked about dying...

Oh yeah, I remember that part, nya. You still had logs attached to your feet, nya.

[ It was so weird... ]

Yeah. It was fun. I had fun, so even though I pissed you off, the day was a win.

[ This is what Sasuke calls being shitty. As long as Minato's having fun, it's fine. ]

[ Terry turns to his side and pinches Minato's nose. ]

The good stuff outweighed the bad, nya.

[ Minato squeezes his eyes shut when Terry pinches his nose. Between this and the cheek squishing, he feels like a child... He never got to feel like a child before. It was always just him doing his own thing and learning to take care of himself. ]

[ Terry smiles. He misses Lily a lot more than he thought, and being in this house only makes him think of her more. :( Which might contribute to Terry doing this sort of thing right now, even if Minato is probably 3573895839 years older.

He lets go of his nose. ]

Did it hurt, nya?

[ If he missed his cute daughter so much, he should do this to Rio so Rio can punch him in the gut. ]

[ Minato still rubs at his nose when he's let go, though, like what he did with his cheeks before. ]

...I was just thinking that no matter how many years pass, I'm never going to be an adult. I'm stuck like this forever.

[ Yeah, he's not doing that to a friend LMAO he'd die of embarrassment... ]

You wanna be an adult, nya? There's nothing really good about being one, unless you wanted to bypass legal stuff like smoking and drinking, nya...

[ I can't believe Minato stops being a friend when it's convenient lmao

There's smoking and drinking and things he could do now without caring about destroying his body because those aren't the sorts of things that'll destroy it. He just heaves a sigh and lies back down on the ground, stretching his arms way up above his head so he's as long as possible. ]

I'm never going to grow old with Souji. It's kinda a weird thought.

You want an end, Minyato, nya?

[ He gets that line of thought though, since... he's pretty much the same. He'll only gain a human year of age in appearance every 20,000 years, so... yeah........ ]

Yeah. I already died three times, but none of 'em stuck. If I weren't an Attendant, I'd be dead either way. It's not like that for Souji. He wasn't supposed to die.

[ Minato wasn't supposed to have killed him. He wasn't supposed to have killed anybody in his team, and end all their lives prematurely as he did. ]

I took that from him. I want him to be able to go back to his old life, grow old, and die. And then I can die too. It'd be nice if we could do it together.

[overstrain]

It would be great if you could do it together, nya...

[ Terry looks back up at the ceiling again and closes his eyes. ]

I wish I could do it too, nya.

[compendiem]

[ ...He remembers that from Terry's torture chamber, about asking if Minato would grant him death. Minato had said no back then, because he didn't agree with Terry's reason, and because he didn't want to have to kill another friend when he's already killed so many. ]

...All you need to do is stop drinking blood, right? When you get tired and there's nothing left.

[ Terry has a way out. Nobody's going to let him do it, and Minato can envision any of the people in this house tying him up and force feeding him blood so he won't die, but it's still an out. But for the both of them, a natural death is impossible. ]

[ Despite being alive for so long, he has things to do. His survival mode has been flickering on and off as of late, but it's firmly in its on state now. He looks over at Minato. ]

That's not a normal way to die, nya...

[ Minato, pls. ]

It's still a way. Like when animals stop eating when they're too sad to keep going.

[ And then there's Minato, who still enjoys food when he doesn't have to eat. He wonders if that's part of his drive to live too, despite wanting to sleep and never open his eyes again. ]

[ Is he being compared to a dog again... Terry sighs and turns over to ruffle Minato's hair with both hands. ]

Is that your dream, nya?

[ Minato makes a noise in the back of his throat that's supposed to be some sort of whine or groan, but it gets muffled when he tries to turn around to get away from the hands. It's very ineffective on hard ground compared to a couch. ]

I don't want to die hungry... That sounds miserable. I want to sleep and just keep sleeping.

[overstrain]

... No, I meant growing old with Souji, nya. Your hope would be wanting to sleep and just keeping sleeping, nya.

[ At least... he thinks so? Those two can be interchangeable, he thinks. ]

What? No, I... sort of really want a dog.

[ What's what he told Sasuke his was, and that's basically it. ]

Terry looks over at Minato, pausing his hair ruffling, before starting it again. ]

Can't you Wolvaan Souji to being your dog?

[compendiem]

No. I want both a dog and Souji.

[ ...But he can always Wolvaan Terry. Yeah. Minato summons Ananke and casts Wolvaan on Terry. ]

[overstrain]

[ Terry turns into the samoyed he was just a week ago... he looks so done with Minato and paws his face. ]

[compendiem]

[ Minato immediately breaks into a grin, seeing him, letting Terry paw his face without bothering to get up off the ground or anything. Terry can crush him and he doesn't care. ]

Yeah. It'd be nice if you could stay like this.
