[ Note: Some of these are backdated as these items are supposed to be regained within a month! These are pretty generic prompts, but if you have one you want and you'd like me to write a detailed starter for it, give me a poke at tsubo, through PM, or through the comments! ]

i. 8/16-8/30: you're half the man i am
[ It can't get any more ironic. The morning after Obon, a box of butter is delivered to Mondo's doorstep. You might...

1) Find it before he does, if you walk by the warehouse nearby the school early in the morning. Did Mondo start a new business? Who knows.

2) Spot Mondo staring at the box of butter. He'll think it's some prank that someone pulled on him. He might visit the Velvet Room to see if the attendants know anything. Or are they behind all of these random items that come out of nowhere?

3) Be invited by him to have some, or for a cooking session. He doesn't even cook that much so he'll probably give it to Terry otherwise, maybe? The hell does he do with 80(???)kg of butter... It says 80kg on the label, but it's light and weighs at most 1kg. However, when they scoop there seems to be endless amount of butter...? ]

ii. 8/16-8/30: we're gonna accelerate till dawn
[ Later that evening, people might notice a large shadow floating on the air, until it finally is dropped just a few centimeters away from where Mondo is... The crows are working hard to deliver it to him, but the fall certainly did some damage to it ー especially since the motorcycle is self-built. He has so many questions, but before that he'll do some reparation work so if you stop by, he can show you how to fix a bike, or if you ever want a ride from him anytime in the month after the 16th, he's game... if he likes you. Then again, he likes a lot of people in Hirajiro, so that's a thing.

He'll also start some delivery services now that he has motorbike!! Hirajiro's first Uber? Maybe... ]

iii. 8/20-8/30: neko neko neko nyaamii nyaamii
[ Mondo is almost scared of waking up every morning because something just suddenly come up without warning, and today is no different. He wakes up to 5 more kitties on top of the one he already has. So now he has to father 6 cats... He doesn't know if he can take care of them all, and Lia the tabby (his first cat) isn't very excited with his attention that are now have to be split among the other five.

He'll walk around the town with them trotting behind him, trying to see if anyone wants to adopt one or two. He'll keep them if no one does... Maybe if anyone wants to help him name them, lol, he's always relying on other people for names... useless. He'll also allow people to play with them as long as they're gentle! You can decide where you see him in town because he'll literally walk around the whole town trying his luck. ]

iv. 8/25-8/30: 8bit tour

So Mondo manages to get a secondhand galapagos cellphone that can send photos and text, also do calls but not video calls! Feel free to bother him through phone calls or texts, he's not very tech savvy but he can text. You can also order some delivery through him... lmfao maybe if the attendants want his services... ]

v. anytime in august
[ Apart from working at Hoshino Carpenters, where a middle-aged couple work on carpentering services as well as some wood crafts, Mondo has his own side job of making trinkets and smaller wood crafts which doesn't have to go through the Hoshino's. If you want to commission him for a gift for that special someone, he's here. He'll also hold some impromptu workshops too and is more than happy to teach people how to make things! Despite the large bara fingers, they're quite nimble.

Other than that, he'll be at the dungeons to collect items and $$$. He wants to save up for phone (which he'll have towards the end of the month), so he'll find every ways possible to get all the dollah. He will still be around even after he gets his kaching because nothing wrong with getting more money! If you want to team up with him, he's down. He'll be in every floor except the fourth, he's here for your Fire and Physical attack needs. He's also gotten Tetrakarn so he can reflect physical damages, if that's a thing that you need! ]

[ It's not even that Mondo wants to do his usual self-depreciation thing. It's just... so hilariously sad. He doesn't even know how to describe what he's feeling about it. He wants to be angry about Monokuma did to him, but at the same time, he can accept it as a punishment that he deserves. Losers die as losers. Cowards like him are nothing but a fucking tub of butter. That's... hah. That's almost funny.

He lets Terry hold him, but doesn't reciprocate it. He has lost count of the times Terry's there to support him, to convince him that he means something, that he's a 'good person'. ]

I'm fine, Terry. It's just... haha. It's funny.

[overstrain]

[ The way Mondo laughed is something that unnerves Terry--it's an all-too familiar one: a broken laugh. It's one that people use when they can't comprehend something, as if to laugh off the absurdity. Terry has done it before, and it didn't feel pleasant. He doesn't mind that Mondo doesn't return the hug. ]

Really? I don't think it's funny at all.

[ He knows that's supposed to be rhetorical, but he can't help but to say that in response. ]

Who did this to you...? Do you know?

[ Mondo falls silent, two seconds, five seconds, ten, and then a minute. ]

...Remember when I told ya I killed a classmate?

[ He breathes in, as if purposely trying to delay saying anything. Hesitation is there, but after a few more seconds, he continues. ]

I was involved in a 'killing game'... 's what it was called. We were trapped in our school, and were asked to kill each other in order to get away from there. They gave us 'incentives'. Reasons to kill. [ Blackmails. ] Every murder's followed by a trial. If ya got to kill without anyone noticin', ya get to live, and the rest gonna get executed.

[ To think he talked about this so easily with Kurusu... He isn't sure what it is that makes him hesitate sharing this with Terry. Maybe because he knows there's nothing for Terry to gain from it. There's no point knowing about this. ]

...And vice versa.

[ There you go, Terry. ]

[overstrain]

[ Huh. So Mondo was caught after killing a classmate, and since he didn't really want to do it, the incentive probably got to him, or he went out of control. Maybe it's both. Terry keeps holding onto Mondo though and gently rubs his back.

They could have just left it at death, but they had to go far and beyond to make butter out of a corpse. Terry isn't usually one for respecting the dead or any other religious themes surrounding that, but toying with that idea irritates him, because it's too much like what his original would do. Therefore, he hates it. ]

... You're not gonna keep the tub, are you?

[trabryu]

[ When Terry begins rubbing his back, Mondo pushes Terry away. ]

I said I'm fine!

[ Fuck, he hates this. He knows full well that Terry has only done nothing but goodness to him, and yet anger begins to simmer within him. He feels patronised. And he knows why. He's lashing out. ]

It's just a fuckin' butter. I'll just finish it once and for all.

[overstrain]

[ Terry is pushed away and looks surprised. He doesn't particularly look hurt and he's used to Mondo getting mad at him for various reasons, but obviously, there's something different about this time than the others. He keeps his hands to himself though and puts them behind his back, hooking the fingers together because he doesn't know what to do with them otherwise. ]

Sorry, Mondo. I believe that you will.

[ It's the usual gentle voice with the genuine emotions stuffed into it. He figures that Mondo needs some space, so he'll give it to him. ]

[ He then turns away from Terry, heading back to where the butter tub is. No one has actually touched the area that they left from.

Mondo crouches down to look at the label on the lid.

It's despicable. The bitter taste in his mouth is of bile and hatred. Fuck. Like hell he's gonna let Monokuma step on him over and over again!! He pulls the lid open roughly, throwing it aside.

Without hesitation, he uses his hand to scoop a generous amount of butter, and eats it. He meant it when he said he was gonna finish it. He will finish it, so that there will no more of it. It tastes like shit, it smells like shit. He wants to barf, so badly, but he keeps going. He doesn't stop scooping and shoving it into his mouth. ]

[overstrain]

[ The thing is, he made the resolve of giving Mondo space, but... he can't help but be worried. He stays at a distance and watches Mondo shove all that butter into his mouth. That... can't be healthy. Is this like recycling cannibalism? Terry isn't sure what to call it, but he'll silently stand there, in case he suddenly gets a heart attack or something from all that butter... ]

[ Yeah!! Mondo is very eco he actually watched over Neku wasting tanzaku paper and nagging at him, lmfao.

There's absolutely no way eating butter that has twice the fat in this kind of speed, amount, and momentum anything healthy. At the halfway mark, he begins to choke and feel the tightness in his chest. He gags, and it's probably best for Terry not to look at him getting so pathetic, slobbering and sweating like a mad man. And yet he still doesn't stop, even if he takes longer breaks in between to swallow back the urge to barf it all out. ]

[overstrain]

[ Yeah, Terry turns around, but doesn't go anywhere. He stands where he is, but he can still hear all the noises Mondo is making while eating the butter. He thinks that he'll have to take Mondo to the hospital later. There's really not much he can do, except wait for Mondo to be finished. If it'll give him some kind of closure, then by all means, he'll wait. ]

[ Despite the label indicating that it was 80kg, it really wasn't 80kg - obviously. But it still takes Mondo a while to finish the whole tub, for many obvious reasons. At the end of it, his breathing is shallow and ragged, the nausea is peaking within him. He doesn't know if this can even be considered a closure, when his body's shaking with anger, frustration, despair. In the end of the day, he's still being led around by Monokuma, even when it's not here. He will never be free, will he?

He drops on the ground, but doesn't pass out. He just punches the ground repeatedly, muttering curses over and over again. ]

Goddammit!!

[ More than anything, he's furious at himself, that he's still on Monokuma's palm. ]

[overstrain]

[ Terry breathes out quietly, hearing Mondo curse while pounding the ground, and pulls out the omamori from his pocket. It's daytime, so it's much less effective, but he'll telepathically command Vassago to use Makajama on Mondo--in an attempt to make him forget how to stay awake for five minutes. ]

[ And just like that, Mondo falls limp on the ground, fast asleep. Zzzzz ]

[overstrain]

[ Terry makes his way there, looking down at Mondo for a few seconds before dismissing Vassago and cleaning up the area. The corn is in a plastic bag that Mondo can eat later in the warehouse along with all the tools and such. Then he goes back to pick up Mondo, puts him over his shoulder and takes him to the hospital because eating that much butter at once can't be good for your health. He explains the situation to the receptionist and Mondo is whisked away.

Good night, salty butter prince. ]

[ When Mondo comes to, all he sees is white. The sharp smell of disinfectant assaults his nostrils, making him crinkle his nose and frown like he's offended. The hospital...? Why's he here again? He sits up slowly. His body feels heavy, but the nausea that he felt earlier has mostly subsided.

Or rather, that's what he thinks, until he remembers again what had happened. Ugh... fuck. At least, the nausea he feels right now is more psychological than it is physical... not that it's better in any way, but. He places his hand over his eyes, sighing. He's only shown horrible sides of himself to people he cares for, hasn't he? Then again, he doesn't exactly have a side of himself that he thinks is presentable at this point.

When he feels like he's sat long enough to get himself together again, he gets off the bed and changes back to his own clothes that were nearly tucked on the cupboard in the room. Sliding the window open, he looks down. Second floor? Hah. Easy.

And just like that, he jumps down, ready to bail it out of there. Will the hospital bill be stacked on Terry's already piling up debt? Who knows. ]
