[open] 9/8 hirajiro mystery gang
[ You know what? Now's a good a time for this as any. When the Attendants send the call out to everybody on 9/4, Kido takes advantage of everybody being together to give them the address to the house she, Terry, and Rei are staying at, and asks them to meet there on 9/8 at noon if they're able to make it.
The original point of a meeting was to recruit for a gang, but with shit going down and people disappearing and personalities splitting off, it's turned into Kido needing to reach out to anybody who's a Persona user and consolidate everything that they know about everything. Personas. Shadows. The town itself. Anything.
If you're directionally challenged, it'll be easy to spot the house on Sunday afternoon because it's the only house on the block with two dozen crows perched on every inch of roof and telephone line there is around the house, and a five meter wide spider crab hanging around on the front yard, its front pincers bound so it can't snap at anybody, but it still scuttles around irately. ]
Sorry about the lack of furniture... Take a seat where you can find space, either on the couch or the floor. There's rice, miso soup, and gyudon in the kitchen if you're hungry; go ahead and help yourselves. We've got lots to talk about today.
[ Feel free to use this log to discuss anything your character is interested in or is looking into, whether it's plot clues gained from bonuses or discovered through asking questions in the logs, methods for getting through the current dungeon, how people are making enough to stop sleeping on the streets, etc.
Please write your own toplevel for each point of discussion. ]

[ Terry is preparing more bowls for them, but it's still Kido's cooking after all. He's also pretty happy that he'll get to eat things like this everyday. Though he's eating a bowl himself right now. ]
no subject
[ He's just a little behind Akira with the score of three bowls, but he feels like he could eat more... ]
It's just so good I can't stop eating.
[ He brought some snacks but he can't even think about them. ]
no subject
Yeah? Well, go ahead and eat your fill, you guys. The grocery bill comes out of Terrence's paycheck anyways.
no subject
[ He's going to grab another helping of gyudon. But before that, he'll make sure to lock his eyes with Kido and grin. ]
Great job, Kido.
no subject
[ oh my god
That doesn't stop him from eating though, lmao. ]
no subject
Yeah, it is. But... thanks. Make sure to have some vegetables too, so it's not just rice and meat.
no subject
Where did you learn cooking like that? If it's not a secret.
no subject
[ Not her birth mom, but her foster mom, and it's a good enough memory that her gaze softens a little, thinking about it. It was either her helping, or Ayano, and Ayano's cooking is... well. It was a good thing Kido had an interest in cooking and was good at it. ]

[The way Akira says it, the sentence sounds genuine. He's gonna be back at it again in about twenty minutes, but for now he's just leaning against the wall and stretching.]
She taught you well.
no subject
...Thanks. I'm glad I learned as much as I could from her before she passed. Knowing everybody here enjoys her recipe would make her happy, I think.

"This dish is of high quality rations. I desire more." ]

There's plenty in the kitchen, so feel free to eat as much as you want.
[ ...Though, looking at the number of times everybody's refilled their bowls, maybe that won't hold true for forever. ]
...You might have to compete with some of those other guys soon, though.
no subject
"I will compete for the food bowls, even against humans." ]
no subject
Oh. Well... As long as you're enjoying it, good luck.
[ She's not the one paying for groceries, and it makes her happy to see people enjoy her food, so it's a win in her book either way. ]
no subject
Should I... buy more ingredients from the market...?
no subject
[ She stocked up in the past few days and the entire house has already been eaten clean. ]
Can you get more ingredients, and some extra bags of rice? Along with ingredients for whatever you want for dinner tomorrow.
no subject
Yeah, I can do that.
[ ... ]
But first, can you wash the dishes? The bowls are stacking really high in the sink and if everyone's gonna eat more, then I don't want them to topple over and we have a bigger mess to deal with...
no subject
[ Make your own gyudon bowls, punks, but you'd better eat your veggies along with it. ]
no subject
[ He also doesn't want to be such a stick in the mud. ]
I can't be at two places at once.

[He doesn't even know Michi, or her status as dummy.]
[But he stands up and disappears briefly back into the kitchen, returning with another bowl. He refuses to be outdone.]
no subject
you wanna go, akira?? she'll eat everything!! She quickly finishes the bowl. Dummy androids have no sense of savoring things, but they do know what they like and dislike--and she definitely likes this bowl of gyudon. She walks into the kitchen to get another bowl and starts eating. ]
no subject
[Bowl five, let's do it.]
no subject
Though it's ironic that the dummy is "getting along" with people more than her original. ]
no subject
How many of those have you had?
[It's not condescending, but it's that tone where you're trying to sound casual but you're actually dead serious.]
no subject
Well, that just about confirms that Michi isn't human as she continues to eat her gyudon with a resumed blank face. ]
