[ On December 1st, Hirajiro's residential district goes through a minor change, which is having Terry's two-story house appear right next to the Black Cat house. With Orien's help, Terry bought the land that the house sits on. Anyway, the house has two floors. The entire first floor has a living room, kitchen, and a bathroom with sink, toilet, and shower. When you climb up the stairs, you'll reach the second floor, which has four bedrooms with a bathroom connecting two bedrooms together. The bathrooms can be locked from the inside only. There is no master bedroom nor bathroom in this house. One of the rooms are soundproof, but Terry is not telling anyone which one it is. You'll have to find that out for yourself. AC and heater are fully functional.

Terry sent out a message to all the Guests. For those who don't have phones, Orien personally delivered the message to those people himself. The message is as follows:

We solved the housing situation. Terry will not ask anyone to pay rent, but the house isn't furnished at all except for a refrigerator and a fireplace. You'll have to buy supplies and furniture on your own. There are several conditions you need to accept if you choose to live here:

1) Please do not destroy the house or cause property damage. If you do, you're paying for the damages.
2) Clean up after yourselves. A clean house means no bugs and good standard of living.
3) Do not steal/take anything from the Black Cat house. (this needs to be mentioned because he had several door stealing incidents)

The address/general directions to the location has been mentioned, which is basically next door to the Black Cat house.

Feel free to make your own top levels and stuff. ]

Yeah... Like how I was trying before, when you took me to the school.

[ It sort of worked back then, and it sort of works now. It's always a hit-or-miss when he's outside, but he can narrow down what sort of memory he receives, instead of going to the dungeon and getting a guaranteed but completely random one. ]

I keep remembering things from before all of this, though. Back when I was normal. ...ish. My time in Hirajiro shouldn't have made that little an impact...

Yeah. Something that'll help... But Souji and I failed in the end, so I dunno how much help it'd be even if I remember all of it.

Yours. They're all shitty memories because I'm a shitty person, so the ignorance was nice when it lasted.

I watched people die, killed people, and also killed myself. There was a lot of that.

Does it matter? It's still me, and people still died.

[ He gets it's not his fault, but the factors that played into it are— namely the power imbalance, the carelessness that got him brainwashed in the first place, his lack of will to shrug it off. ]

I made lots of people cry... I got yelled at a lot, my foot stomped on and face slapped and whatever... It was hard to care about anything. I didn't understand anything and I couldn't feel anything... That's the sort of stuff I'm remembering.

But you're helping us now. Even if you don't like it, or like us, you've been trying to do what you can for us.

Shitty people don't even try. Shitty people are more interested in whatever they find fun, even if it means tormenting other people.

[ Minato hums a little, because all this time, he's been saying that he's only helping them because it's part of the job description, and even then getting him to help is like pulling teeth. ]

That's... sorta what I did. What I do. Whatever is fun for me, or I think is funny, but I have a terrible sense of humor.

[He frowns, because Minato still isn't nearly as destructive as Yuusuke people he knows who are much better described as shitty.]

[ Is he, though? He tries, but his success rate isn't great, and it's easy to give up. Look at Rio having to bribe him into trying, after Minato tried really hard for the first time in forever and then coma'd for three days. ]

I guess... But regaining those sorts of memories is just me reminiscing on stuff. I don't really care. If there's something I'm supposed to remember, but I'm not, and it gets you guys into trouble, then I'd be pretty mad at myself.

...Do you think walking around will help jog the memory again?

Maybe... I haven't been around much recently, besides the roof and closet at school, places like that.

[ He did remember stuff from going out, though. His old school life from going around the school, a ghost investigation when he was with RO at the inn, eating burgers after school when he had them with Terry...

They're all such mundane memories. He can't imagine any of them helping. ]

What sort of memory do you think will be most helpful? Like, a place or situation or whatever.

Maybe... one of the earlier dungeons? In case that reminds you what it was like, fighting together.

[ Ah, team memories. Minato's going to be a disappointment with those. ]

We didn't really... Well, I didn't. I went off on my own a lot of the time... But we stayed together when facing the Daitengus.

So we'd have to trigger a memory dealing with the Daitengu specifically...

[...But would getting deep enough into the dungeon be enough for that...?]

If you're curious about that sort of fighting memory, yeah. Would it help? It looks like we only got as far as Yashiro-no-Shugosha, though.

[ So if Sasuke wants information about the fourth Daitengu, he's out of luck. If he's curious about how Minato's team operated as a whole, Minato isn't sure it's something they should copy, so it doesn't feel like that sort of memory would be helpful. ]

...I'm not sure what else... If you went to the dungeon alone a lot, you probably traded items to the shopkeepers alone, too... Unless you went to places like the arcade with the others?

[ Minato lets the question hang in the air, because he isn't sure if he'd gone to the arcade with the others. He can't remember anything like that, but that doesn't necessarily mean it never happened. ]

I went to the dungeons a lot, but knowing how I am... I wouldn't want to lug all that stuff around to sell.

[ He just fought for fighting's sake... All those gems and items and everything were wasted unless he had somebody along with him to clean up after him. ]

[ They are both bad at this................ Minato's not entirely convinced that he did normal people things in the first place. ]
