[ On December 1st, Hirajiro's residential district goes through a minor change, which is having Terry's two-story house appear right next to the Black Cat house. With Orien's help, Terry bought the land that the house sits on. Anyway, the house has two floors. The entire first floor has a living room, kitchen, and a bathroom with sink, toilet, and shower. When you climb up the stairs, you'll reach the second floor, which has four bedrooms with a bathroom connecting two bedrooms together. The bathrooms can be locked from the inside only. There is no master bedroom nor bathroom in this house. One of the rooms are soundproof, but Terry is not telling anyone which one it is. You'll have to find that out for yourself. AC and heater are fully functional.

Terry sent out a message to all the Guests. For those who don't have phones, Orien personally delivered the message to those people himself. The message is as follows:

We solved the housing situation. Terry will not ask anyone to pay rent, but the house isn't furnished at all except for a refrigerator and a fireplace. You'll have to buy supplies and furniture on your own. There are several conditions you need to accept if you choose to live here:

1) Please do not destroy the house or cause property damage. If you do, you're paying for the damages.
2) Clean up after yourselves. A clean house means no bugs and good standard of living.
3) Do not steal/take anything from the Black Cat house. (this needs to be mentioned because he had several door stealing incidents)

The address/general directions to the location has been mentioned, which is basically next door to the Black Cat house.

Feel free to make your own top levels and stuff. ]

[ If you need to contact Terry for any reason, he'll be standing outside the new house, looking exhausted. He skipped a full day of work for this. If anyone wants to ask him anything or whatever, he'll be here. ]

[Wait. Hold up.]

You didn't build this, did you? Nya?

[At one point, Terry is approached by a black cat with a distinct white marking on his back. He's not one of their 35, and his visit will be brief. He comes darting out of nowhere to paw at Terry's pant leg. There's something in his mouth. Take it. It's a stack of bills, totaling ћ80,000.]

So this sort of thing can also appear... That's so sketchy.

[ It's a house and she can't complain, coming over from next door with a train of 35 cats behind her to look around this new house. They aren't going to live there, because Espeon would throw them out the window or something, but they're here for housewarming day until they're kicked out.

Kido herself is just going around to see what works. For a house that's suddenly dropped from the sky or whatever, it's remarkable that the place hasn't completely crumbled. The lights and water work. She opens the fridge to see what's inside and hopes it hasn't been 40k years since Terry last cleaned it out.

In the living room... Kido tapes a piece of paper on one blank wall that says "Space reserved." ]

[ Orien unsealed Terry's powers just so that he can use his speed to quickly clean the house and make sure there isn't anything horrible, like expired food in the fridge. There's nothing in the fridge. Everything is so clean... it looks like a new house. His powers are immediately sealed after he's done with that though.

Terry walks up to Kido when he sees the paper. ]

What's the wall gonna be used for?

[At some point during Kido's walkthrough, the cat train has gained a 36th member. A medium-sized black cat with a white flaming circle on his back. He seems to be overly curious, making sure to look over everything like he's inspecting the house.]

[ Nya...

Minato has no business being here, but he's here anyways, because this is probably the largest otherworldly thing that's come here. The implications are... not very good, but he keeps his opinions to himself and instead goes upstairs to where the bedrooms are.

...

He jumps up and down for a bit, listening to the way his shoes echo inside the empty room, and then does the same with his hands cupped around his mouth. ]

Hello—-!

[ It's that weird echoey quality of a completely empty room. So weird. He loves it. He's not living here, but climbing up one set of stairs and jumping two or three times is physically exhausting, so he goes ahead and lies down in the middle of the room, on his back with his hands clasped over his stomach. Eventually, Espeon comes around to lie on his face and stop him from breathing, but Espeon is cool so Minato forgives him and allows himself to be suffocated. He's like one of Kido's 35 cats that you have to kick out in order to make the house hospitable. ]

[ Terry just looks down at Akira after he's done talking with Kido, since he saw him earlier. ]

What are you doing, Minyato, nya?

[ i cant believe i can actually legit type down minyato as dialogue for a real tag ]

[Sasuke's been exploring the place and-

Minato.

Why???]

Are you... okay?

[...Akira walks into the doorway, and spots the two of them.]

[Akira looks at Espeon.]

[Espeon looks at Akira.]

[..........................Akira nods slowly, and keeps walking.]

[A little while later, if Minato is still lying there with a catte on his face, he may sense someone else's body lying near him.]

[And then Espeon's body begins to shift around a little on Minato's face. Like someone is petting him and it's moving the loose skin.]

[That's because someone is petting Espeon and that someone is 180!Akira.]

[windbreakers]

[ Let's just assume that Seto has settled in... it's been almost a week since he arrived so I guess he's just been trying to pick up a job asap because somebody ate crickets and he had to find a way to pay back the hydrogen peroxide that he took... anyway, yeah, that's what's up with Seto. Just working then getting the message. He stands outside the front of the new house. ]

Terry-san's pretty generous, isn't he? Giving us a place to stay without any rent!

[ Maybe now he doesn't have to work ten jobs at once. ]

[reveilation]

[ It's too bad Kido couldn't rope Seto in to living in the Black Cat house, because the income from those ten jobs would have been really useful. ]

Yeah, he is. He's also a dumbass and should have collected rent.

[ He had to buy the land?? That in itself must have been very expensive, and between murder and spa trips and hospital bills, they always seem to be in the red. ]

[ Oh, cool. Seto is here too. Terry waves over at him. ]

Just Terry is fine, nya. Glad you could come, nya!

[Now that he knows Seto can talk to animals, but that they can't understand him in return, Rago is here to mess with him. Kido neglected to reveal what his eye ability is, and Rago may be revealed as a fake cat right away, but he's unaware of this. The cat trots up to Seto at some point during the day, gnawing on fish. He looks up expectantly. Play with him.]

[Oh, hey. Red has never seen this guy before and it sounds like he'll be living here as well, so might as well introduce himself to his new housemate. When Seto has a moment, he'll be approached by Red and Pikachu. Espeon is busy suffocating Minato and Charizard and Blastoise are chilling in the room that Akira claimed for them.]

...Hi. I'm Red, and this is Pikachu. Nice to meet you.

Pi-ka~!

[In contrast to his trainer's stoic introduction, Pikachu is enthusiastic and he beams happily up at Seto and gives him a cute little wave. Nice to meet you!!!]

[There's a tiny girl looking very confused about all of this, peering at the house from the outside. She doesn't actually look much different, although those who are used to seeing her around may notice that her pigtails are tied lower than usual. That's it. That's the only change.]

I suppose it has been about two years...

[What.]

What has?

[Toki isn't going to be living here, but he wants to at least take a look, so he ventured over from next door. He doesn't notice any difference in Rio's hair, or anything off about her.]

...What do you mean, two years?

[There's a crimeboy sidling up next to her. Hello. He doesn't consider the possibility of a canon update like Red's because she looks... exactly the same, so what is it?]

[overstrain]

Nice hair change, nya!

[ Terry thought Rio wouldn't come, so he's surprised when he sees her here. ]

Did you... go back home for a while, nya? You didn't have a near-death experience to get there, did you, nya?

[ He just gets it, since he went through that too. ]

[not_that_sasuke]

[Sasuke's wandering the second house as well, occasionally running his hands along the walls as though to convince himself that it's real. Kurou's around too, but not with him - he's blending in among the other cats around the houses.]

The shrine could bring things like this, too...?

[Hm. Seems kind of bad. Convenient, but... bad.]

[ Terry is trying to be sneaky and suddenly grabs onto Sasuke's shoulders from behind in an attempt to surprise him. It probably fails. ]

have to use this bonus sometime...

[Jiro leaves his things in the first empty bedroom; clothes he'd acquired in Hirajiro and a couple blankets taken from house he'd been staying in. His eight cats, seven of them kittens, make themselves comfortable on the blankets. Jiro had intended to go back downstairs, but everything got so hot, like he was boiling alive. He'll be spending the rest of this housewarming thing taking a cold bath with a ninth cat, Rago; who stole ice and fish from Kido's refrigerator next door. The bathroom may smell like raw fish for a while.]

[overstrain]

[ Terry was making rounds as usual, but why does the bathroom smell like fish...? He smelled it from downstairs, but only because his sense of smell is stronger than a dog's. Curious, he knocks on the bathroom door. ]

Is everything okay in there...? It smells like fish in there.

[infiltrationtools]

[After getting his initial questions out -- questions like what the fuck and so you just got an entire fucking house from an offering and so hypothetically any building from anywhere could just crash down and replace any part of Hirajiro or the forest, but notably excluding questions like why are you not charging rent -- Akira is scoping the new place out.]

[He's also called dibs on the largest available bedroom on his and Red's behalf, because he thinks they deserve it for agreeing to room together. But also this place is fucking huge compared to what he's used to, so he absolutely cannot complain at all.]

[But since he had to sell all the old apartment's furniture months ago and there's nothing else to do in that room, he ventures back down to the kitchen. And he's just... gazing in awe at the fact that this crazy nice house is theirs now. It's literally like those anime sparkly eyes.]

I can't believe this...

[Akira is talking to himself with his head inside the spacious oven. He sounds... excited?]

This place is insane! We have an island!

[reveilation]

[ Akira is valid. The kitchen is the most exciting place in any house, and Kido laughs a little when she comes downstairs and hears how excited he is. ]

You sure do. You're going to invite us over for dinner sometime, right?

group meeting time, everybody get your asses over here

[ It's like herding a bunch of cats, but at least in an empty house, you can sort of hear what's going on downstairs even if you're hiding up in one of the empty bedrooms upstairs. ]

It'll be a quick meeting. Jiro can talk to the crows, and we're going to see if we can learn anything about the Kotengu, or perhaps even getting to talk to him. If there's anything you want to ask the Kotengu, write it down and give it to me so Jiro will have it when he talks to the birds. He's too shy to ask everybody himself, so I'm doing this.

[ That's it for the meeting. It's more of an announcement than a meeting. ]
