I - 11/17: early morning, torii dimension (locked to Sasuke)

[ Terry had been a zombie for several days, and in complete stasis, despite the numerous wounds he was bleeding from that have never healed. It doesn't look like he's been bleeding while here though and he finally opens his eyes for the first time in days. ]

Where am I...?

II - 11/17: afternoon to evening, town

[ Terry lost all his memories. Good thing he and Orien met up. Maybe Sasuke also relayed the basics to him too. Either way, Orien got him a fresh set of clothes after Terry cleaned himself in the bathhouse. He's no longer a bloody mess. Orien is being a good tour guide and telling Terry where everything is, what he did, etc. Orien is treating this like Terry has been leading a normal life here. Don't fuck it up. He has glasses on too, since Orien brought that over as well. ]

III - 11/18: morning, torii (locked to Sasuke)

[ Terry regains all his memories. Everything. It takes so much not to lash out and he's started to feel desperate after experiencing the events on the 17th. He hides in the forest and revisits the torii. Please let him in. ]

IV - 11/19: lockdown, fear floor (limited to 2 people)

[ It's a ruined city. If you've seen Terry's memory floor previously, you'll see that it's the same city as before. However, there is no ongoing destruction. Everything has already happened. You'll see three people: Terrence, who stands at a distance from the other two, Terry who seems shell-shocked by something, and... another Terry? It's Shadow Terry, making a reappearance, grabbing a hold of Terry's collar and yelling at him.

It's a mess already. There's a reason this is the fear floor. ]

V - 11/23-25: black cat house, around town

[ A) Black cat house: There is a big, fluffy samoyed dog in the crane room that's looking down at the 30+ cats and petting them with his paw.

B) Around town: And now there's a big fluffy samoyed dog prancing around town that's petting cats again. Some cats have mixed responses to the petting. If he sees you, he'll give a short howl before staring at you. His omamori is completely hidden in his poofy fur, but if you dig through his fur, you'll see a glimpse or the usual red-brown that peeks through all the white. It's like a collar with a name tag... without the name. ]

VI - 11/28-29: around... town

[ Terry woke up inside Toki's body and he is having such a bad time. You can most likely find him lying down on the ground somewhere in town for one of many reasons. ]

[ Shadow Terry squints at Toki while Terry isn't sure what to say. It's nice having support, but Toki really worries him sometimes. ]

☈ So you're the same type of sadsack as he is. Have you personally grown at all? As a person? Not your height.

[ He has to add that. He just felt like he had to. ]

[The qualifier was definitely needed.]

I don't know...

[He's in over his head here. The concept of personal growth has yet to exist to him.]

Does that matter?

☈ Yeah, because if he doesn't get over it, he's going to destroy Hirajiro when I forcibly get those memories back for him to confront. You'll die too. That's why he needs to learn how to face them and move on so that he can become stronger. Do you want to get blown up?

[ He raises an eyebrow while looking at Toki. Terry still sits on the ground, looking unsure of what to do. ]

[Toki wants Hirajiro to exist, because it's better than where he came from. Marginally. At least he can do whatever he wants here for the most part. He could until Yuya showed up anyway.]

Uhh...

[He stares off into space to contemplate this. If he gets blown up, he won't have to go back to France either. So, it's kind of a win whether Terry regains his memories or not.]

How much will it hurt?

☈ It will hurt so much that you'll wish you were never born to begin with to feel it.

[ Would Toki change his answer from this... ]

[He already wishes he was never born. He was never meant to be, and he knows that.]

... but everyone would have peace that way, right? If it was all gone?

☈ Peace is a little different from oblivion. Peace isn't "nothing". Oblivion is "nothing".

[ As expected, Toki is actually a little difficult to work with if he tries to force his beliefs on him. If that's the case... ]

☈ Is there anything you want to say to that guy there?

[ He gestures over to Terry. ]

[Toki can't figure out the difference between peace and nothing, because for him, even good things hurt most of the time.]

What?

[Toki looks down at Terry and then back at the Shadow.]

You're the same person, though.

☈ He's the one who's saying we're not though, so can you persuade him for me? You're good with your words, aren't you?

[ Terry looks wary... ]

[Toki is beyond confused at this point, and he may cry soon with frustration.]

Do I have to convince all the other Terrys too?

[He won't forget them.]

☈ No, just this one. You can do it.

He doesn't have to.

☈ Why? I think he can do it. Do it, Toki. I believe in you.

[ Shadow Terry's voice is gentle compared to how brusque it was a while ago. ]

[Toki looks back and forth between them again. Then he bites his lip.]

What am I convincing him to do again? Blow something up?

☈ That me and him are the same people. Go on. You can do it.

We're... not the same.

☈ We are though.

[ Shadow Terry won't budge on that. ]

You're... both Terry.

[There were a lot of other Terrys, and now Toki knows what's going on. He points at Shadow Terry accusingly.]

Kano! Stop messing with people!

[ Shadow Terry laughs and reaches out to grab onto Toki's throat and lifts him off the ground. ]

☈ Don't be ridiculous. I can't be Kano.

[He can't be Kano. Kano couldn't do this, physically. Toki is so confused, but also struggling to breathe and starting to freak out. He grabs at Shadow Terry's hands and attempts a few kicks at his shins.]

☈ I'm real, Toki. I'm the real thing.

[ Shadow Terry drops Toki on the ground next to Terry, to which Terry immediately pulls Toki away from his Shadow in an attempt to protect him. ]

Toki, are you okay--

What's happening?

[His voice is scratchy, and panicked. He's going to hide behind Terry, and peer around him, trying to figure this out. It finally clicks.]

Is this like what happened to Kido?

It's--Kido had a Shadow too?

[ Yeah. He tossed that memory over. Terry's eyes look wide when Toki says that. ]

☈ Yes, it's exactly what happened to her. It was so bad that he decided to forget, but this time, I don't care for acceptance. Who would, being thrust into this sort of situation and not knowing what's going on? It's impossible, so I'm going to take over.

[ He smiles over at Toki. ]

☈ You'll get to see me a lot more often~

[I forgot Toki didn't know Kido's name, but we will pretend he found out somehow.]

But... don't you have to merge?

[He's clueless. Nekogami just killed him once and then kept using Dream Needles. He's not in the loop of how it all went down.]

☁ It used to be like that, but not this time. I will be in control while he gets to be in timeout like a tiny feral child.

[ It's his turn to use the body now. ]

[What a horrible fate. Toki looks at Terry sadly. Then he glares at Shadow Terry and makes a similar offer to the one he proposed to Nekogami.]

If only one of you can be in control and you both want to be, take my body instead and then he doesn't have to be in timeout!

☁ Unfortunately, the entire point is to send him to time out. I need to use his body. I can't possess yours anyway. I'm not you. Maybe if Joroko was fed up with you to the point of no return, she'd do the same thing. But she'd do it to protect you. We all do for our own hosts, no matter what it takes.

Well, you can't do that to him!

[Toki has only seen the good parts of Terry, and he also resents Joroko's "protecting".]

Not unless he agrees to it!

☁ And who are you to stop me?

[ Shadow Terry takes a step forward, but Terry immediately gets between them. ]

You don't need to hurt him to get your point across. That's enough...

[ Terry glances over at Toki. ]

... It'll be fine, Toki. I'll... handle it somehow.
