I - 11/17: early morning, torii dimension (locked to Sasuke)

[ Terry had been a zombie for several days, and in complete stasis, despite the numerous wounds he was bleeding from that have never healed. It doesn't look like he's been bleeding while here though and he finally opens his eyes for the first time in days. ]

Where am I...?


II - 11/17: afternoon to evening, town

[ Terry lost all his memories. Good thing he and Orien met up. Maybe Sasuke also relayed the basics to him too. Either way, Orien got him a fresh set of clothes after Terry cleaned himself in the bathhouse. He's no longer a bloody mess. Orien is being a good tour guide and telling Terry where everything is, what he did, etc. Orien is treating this like Terry has been leading a normal life here. Don't fuck it up. He has glasses on too, since Orien brought that over as well. ]


III - 11/18: morning, torii (locked to Sasuke)

[ Terry regains all his memories. Everything. It takes so much not to lash out and he's started to feel desperate after experiencing the events on the 17th. He hides in the forest and revisits the torii. Please let him in. ]


IV - 11/19: lockdown, fear floor (limited to 2 people)

[ It's a ruined city. If you've seen Terry's memory floor previously, you'll see that it's the same city as before. However, there is no ongoing destruction. Everything has already happened. You'll see three people: Terrence, who stands at a distance from the other two, Terry who seems shell-shocked by something, and... another Terry? It's Shadow Terry, making a reappearance, grabbing a hold of Terry's collar and yelling at him.

It's a mess already. There's a reason this is the fear floor. ]


V - 11/23-25: black cat house, around town

[ A) Black cat house: There is a big, fluffy samoyed dog in the crane room that's looking down at the 30+ cats and petting them with his paw.

B) Around town: And now there's a big fluffy samoyed dog prancing around town that's petting cats again. Some cats have mixed responses to the petting. If he sees you, he'll give a short howl before staring at you. His omamori is completely hidden in his poofy fur, but if you dig through his fur, you'll see a glimpse or the usual red-brown that peeks through all the white. It's like a collar with a name tag... without the name. ]


VI - 11/28-29: around... town

[ Terry woke up inside Toki's body and he is having such a bad time. You can most likely find him lying down on the ground somewhere in town for one of many reasons. ]

[ Terry looks at Kido, Suzume, and Hayato with his own ice cream up to his mouth. He's quiet and looks down at the floor, feeling somewhat nervous. ]

If it's okay, I'd like to go...

[ ...This is familiar. Kido hands the rest of her ice cream to Suzume, who happily takes it, and pats Terry on the shoulder while she find someplace quieter to talk on the phone and let the parents know she'll pick things up for dinner. ]

We'll all be glad to have you over for dinner. What do you think about having karaage?

[overstrain]

[ At that, Terry's expression significantly brightens. ]

Yeah! That sounds great!

[ Fried chicken!! It sounds like it would be really delicious.

...

He doesn't know why, but he just gets that feeling. ]

[ ...Yeah, she thought so. And she decides she really hates the feeling of knowing things the other person doesn't know she knows. This must be what pinpointing feels like. It's very weird. ]

Alright, I'll be right back. Suzume, Hayato, take care of him for me, okay? I'll only be a few minutes.

[ But she also pokes around Terry's pocket for Orien. Gotta talk to you too, bro. ]

[ Something like that, yeah. Terry sits obediently in his seat with the kids while Orien turns extremely tiny to sneak into Kido's sleeve and stays around her wrist while grabbing Terry's cell phone to put that in her hand, so that it doesn't look like Kido just stuck her hand in Terry's pocket for nothing. ]

[reveilation]

[ She's just here stealing Terry's phone to call the parents from an unknown number, no big deal. The kids have ice cream so they don't care, and she'll use her own phone to call anyways so the parents won't care either.

She waits until she's turned the corner to lift the fabric of her sleeve. ]

Are you alright with this? Having him over for dinner? I can make you something else if you don't like karaage, and I kind of wanted to know what your plans were for... whatever happens after this.

[ Orien gets a little bigger enough to wrap around her wrist twice when she lifts her sleeve. ]

I'm fine with karaage, though I'm not particularly hungry right now. It would also do him some good to be with some company other than me all the time.

[ His hunger levels are weird, since he doesn't need to eat consistently. As for future plans, he closes his eyes for several seconds and reopens them. ]

I would like to keep up the facade of normality until it's inevitable.

[ Which is basically the next day, but Orien doesn't know that. He's also aware that Hirajiro is pretty weird with unexpected things happening, so he can't plan that far ahead like the rest of us in meta. ]

[ He eats Souji's cat and he's good for a while, huh. That makes it easier, so she doesn't have to figure out how to sneak karaage into her shirt sleeve or something. ]

Normality, huh...

[ You're a talking snake, Orien. Normal must be relative. ]

I'm kind of worried what you two will do overnight. It'll be a no to the haunted inn, and the school's out too. He can... stay home if he wants, but with Rei and Hibiki there and like that, you'd better have some good explanation prepared. He is not sleeping on the streets, with or without Shadows roaming around.

[ He probably ate a raccoon or something while searching for Terry, so he's good. Orien understands that a talking snake wanting normality is peak irony, but. Things are just gonna be like that. ]

If you are fine with it, he can stay home. I have explanations for everything that he'll eat up just fine.

[ He'd rather Terry stay home, really... be a housedad or something. But he also knows the complexity of the situation and is trying to consider Kido's feelings on... well, everything. ]

I'm fine with it. It's his home. I just don't know if I'm going to be there... I could stay with Suzume and Hayato for the night, and tell them I really miss them.

[ They would be okay with it. She's already thought about maybe moving back. ]

But I don't want to leave Hibiki and Rei behind either. I promised to protect them...

[ If she's running away because she's scared of Terry, she'd be abandoning her two friends and that doesn't sit well with her. She'll probably end up staying, regardless of her feelings, and hope Terry doesn't go back to normal while she's half asleep, because she still really wants to punch him at least once. ]

[ Too bad that's exactly what ends up happening... ]

I can protect them in your place for the night. If you need some time away from him, that's understandable.

Thanks... It just feels a lot like running away, and I don't want to do that anymore. I don't know what to do. I really missed it, back then when he was like this, but I miss the rest of him too. Even if he does stupid and dangerous things.

[ Terry right now is a stranger, and she hates it. ]

Best case scenario, he'll remember everything by tonight. [ And then they'll duke it out or something. ] We'll figure things out from there.

[ I hope Kido eventually comes to the conclusion that Terry got zombie'd so hard that he lost his memories when coming back lmao...

Orien nods. ]

She breathes in, and lets out a deep sigh. ]

Yeah, we'll all be there for each other. We'll all go home together, and we'll look out for each other too. I won't push all the babysitting responsibilities onto you.

[ It's a house full of children and 30(??) cats... ganba, Orien. But that's enough talking, so Kido pulls her phone out to call the parents and ask about coming over for dinner. They don't have to cook, and their kids will be happy, so it's all fine by them. Kido got really lucky to know such an accommodating family. ]

Green light. Let's head back.

Orien retreats into Kido's sleeve and turns tiny again. He'll also hold onto Terry's cell phone as if that's his ticket to transfer to places.
