1/11 training and breakfast
[ As last minute prep for the dungeon, everybody has been called to get together for a training session during midnight at Lockdown, with promise of a light breakfast at the clubhouse afterwards and the suggestion that people take it easy during the day before they split up into their respective teams and head to the castle and the mountains.
Training is largely done in the school shrine, on the second floor where there's wide empty space without the maze to account for, where you can practice tactics together, or take on the Minato challenge where he has Messiah blast you apart in half a second and then immediately heals you and asks if you want to go again.
Breakfast at the clubhouse is split between western and traditional styles, whether you crave fluffy pancakes, or are more of a miso soup and grilled fish on rice sort of person. If you want anything in particular for lunch, Kido is on lunch duty and promises to make whatever you want, so long as you go out to the store and bring the ingredients back.
Thanks to everybody's efforts so far during the month, whether it's interacting with the townspeople or talking with the mayor or donating gemstones to the mountain shrine, the effects can already be seen around town, with the townspeople less wary of the Persona users, allowing them to purchase what they want in the stores if they want to have their own supplies to take into the dungeon later.

[Toki's first attempt at training was right after the jailhouse meeting. The next day, he and Rei made the horrible decision of training in the shrine dungeon. It was a very time. After that, Toki was arrested for arson, there was a dead bear in the police station, and he'd bad a very bad three days of paranoia. Barring one good day with a indoor picnic, Toki's week has sucked. It continues to suck, because he's here to train... somehow. He's exhausted already and he just got here.
He has a pike he grabbed from the castle, and along with his tenuous psychic link with Joroko, this is all he has going for him.]

[Toki opts for the fish and rice. He's been trying to perfect the art of making edible pancakes and has eaten so many burned ones over the last few days that the smell of them makes his stomach churn. He won't finish what he does take, and might fall asleep instead.]

[ That's her cooking you're over-seasoning and rendering inedible there!! Being a good cook is something Kido takes pride in, so even though she knows different people have different tastes, she'd at least like him to try a piece not drowning in spices. ]

[ Ala is in the dungeon for training, but less for training as she is for gathering up all the little gemstones that drop to the ground when somebody kills a Shadow. She does her part by charming the Chimeras into attacking the other Shadows and doing the work for her, so they can clear out the entire floor first to make sure there'd ample space for sessions with the Attendants, but if you kill a Shadow right in front of her? There she goes, swooping right in to nab up that stone. ]

[ A whole day of rest and relaxation... sounds fake... Once they're all back inside the clubhouse, Ala takes residence at the kotatsu, which is her favorite place in either house and she really hopes they'll leave them up even when winter comes to an end and it starts to get warmer. They can have the air conditioning running, and also the kotatsu! Kotatsus are the best.
Whether you brought breakfast over to eat here, or are just resting somewhere that'll keep your toes toasty warm, Ala's claiming more than half the table space, holding a set of tarot cards in her hand that she received from Akira for Christmas. ]

[ There is going to be zero dessert tonight, she's just decided, or people are going to either food coma or carb crash and neither is great for dungeon crawling.
Kido places a package on the table, along with a remote. ]
You can use this better than I can, so I'm leaving it with you. It's not set up yet, but once it is, this is the switch that will detonate the bomb.
[ It's one of the items she got from an Attendant request, but there's no way she can use this as effectively as Rio could. It deals moderate non-elemental damage to all enemies, and is remote-controlled to be set off at any time at a safe distance. ]

[ Instead of training with Minato, Kido is out on the the third floor of the school dungeon, relieved to see it's changed back from how it was earlier in the month, when the entire place had changed as a reflection of Akira's Shadow. She's not here to reminisce, though, but to clear out the tobi tengu on this floor, Nekogami one-shotting several tengu at one time with a single blast of Ice Age that shoots up from the ground to skewer the birds. Practice how to use those wide spread spells with enough control that she avoids destroying the entire battlefield and ends up being a hazard for others, that's the task that 45 gave her a while ago, and it's one that she should have given Mianto too. But for now, Kido's here to gather up the healing leaves, keeping them in a small plastic container, neatly stacked so the leaves don't get crushed. ]
ii.
[ For the second half of Lockdown, Kido leaves the school dungeon to go to the lake dungeon instead. The second floor, where her Shadow dungeon was... except she doesn't remember it being such a pain, because it's constantly sleeting on this floor and Kido's immediately soaked to the bone and freezing and it sucks! The cold sucks!! She hates the cold, even with her ice resistance.
Nekogami sticks close to her this time so he can offer the warmth of his flames, and proceeds to scorch the entire dungeon with Blazing Hell, the ground soon melting knee deep with water, and working on controlling the flames so he kills just the Arctos while leaving the Onikuma untouched. The goal here is those status ailment curing gems from the Arctos. ]

[ Kido gets a late breakfast, making sure everybody's had their fill first before finishing up whatever's leftover. She's unreserved about going through the fridge in the clubhouse, and will be doing the same thing back at the other house once the group disbands for the day, pulling out whatever vegetables are in here. ]
We don't know how long it'll take to get back, right? What do you guys think about pulling everything together and having nabe tonight? We shouldn't have anything left in the fridge while we're out.
[ This is her house now; she's taking over the kitchen. ]
