I - 11/17: early morning, torii dimension (locked to Sasuke)

[ Terry had been a zombie for several days, and in complete stasis, despite the numerous wounds he was bleeding from that have never healed. It doesn't look like he's been bleeding while here though and he finally opens his eyes for the first time in days. ]

Where am I...?


II - 11/17: afternoon to evening, town

[ Terry lost all his memories. Good thing he and Orien met up. Maybe Sasuke also relayed the basics to him too. Either way, Orien got him a fresh set of clothes after Terry cleaned himself in the bathhouse. He's no longer a bloody mess. Orien is being a good tour guide and telling Terry where everything is, what he did, etc. Orien is treating this like Terry has been leading a normal life here. Don't fuck it up. He has glasses on too, since Orien brought that over as well. ]


III - 11/18: morning, torii (locked to Sasuke)

[ Terry regains all his memories. Everything. It takes so much not to lash out and he's started to feel desperate after experiencing the events on the 17th. He hides in the forest and revisits the torii. Please let him in. ]


IV - 11/19: lockdown, fear floor (limited to 2 people)

[ It's a ruined city. If you've seen Terry's memory floor previously, you'll see that it's the same city as before. However, there is no ongoing destruction. Everything has already happened. You'll see three people: Terrence, who stands at a distance from the other two, Terry who seems shell-shocked by something, and... another Terry? It's Shadow Terry, making a reappearance, grabbing a hold of Terry's collar and yelling at him.

It's a mess already. There's a reason this is the fear floor. ]


V - 11/23-25: black cat house, around town

[ A) Black cat house: There is a big, fluffy samoyed dog in the crane room that's looking down at the 30+ cats and petting them with his paw.

B) Around town: And now there's a big fluffy samoyed dog prancing around town that's petting cats again. Some cats have mixed responses to the petting. If he sees you, he'll give a short howl before staring at you. His omamori is completely hidden in his poofy fur, but if you dig through his fur, you'll see a glimpse or the usual red-brown that peeks through all the white. It's like a collar with a name tag... without the name. ]


VI - 11/28-29: around... town

[ Terry woke up inside Toki's body and he is having such a bad time. You can most likely find him lying down on the ground somewhere in town for one of many reasons. ]

[ Orien tucks himself inside back into Terry's hoodie pocket again before he leaves. ]

[ Kido calls ahead to let the family know they're coming over, and then leads the way over to the house. The water damage was pretty bad, but now everything's cleaned and dried out and there's a fresh coat of paint too, so it looks rather nice.

Before they even step foot on the driveway, the door flings open and two kids come running out screaming something about "apple pie niichan" before attempting to tackle Terry onto the ground. Kido gets a chorus of hellos after that. ]

[overstrain]

[ Before Terry can ask about that name, he falls back and is tackled to the ground. Oof. He looks at the two kids. ]

You two sure are energetic...

[reveilation]

[ Kido crouches down beside them to make sure Orien didn't get squashed. Suzume and Hayato have attached themselves to Terry's leg and torso respectively, and expect Terry to just get up and carry them along, so they don't let go. ]

I'll introduce you. That's Suzume on your right, and Hayato on your left.

[ She looks down at the kids. ]

Niichan's head is broken, so he doesn't remember a lot of things. You'll help teach him, right?

[overstrain]

[ Orien peeks out of the pocket for a second to give Kido a thankful look before retreating and scaring the kids. Thanks, Kido. ]

You didn't have to tell them about my memory...

[ He wouldn't want to break their hearts?! ]

[reveilation]

Were you just going to play along like everything's normal when you don't even know their names?

[ That would break their hearts, Kido assumed, which is why she told them upfront.

"It's okay, Niichan," Suzume says, tugging at Terry's shirt sleeve. "We'll teach you everything! Like... ice cream! Let's get ice cream!" She just wants to eat ice cream. ]

[overstrain]

I don't think your parents would say yes...

[ And honestly, yeah. That's what he would have done. ]

[reveilation]

[ Hayato also wants to eat ice cream, so he shouts that he'll go ask his parents if they can go out and runs off to do just that. It's very likely a yes, because they haven't been able to have nights off to themselves after Kido left and couldn't babysit anymore. ]

It's a bit cold for ice cream, but I think it should be fine. Have you remembered anything at all? Even little things, if not something major?

[ It sort of feels like she's dragging him around unwillingly, compared to the Terry she knows who would always be the one dragging her around. It's weird. She pulls Suzume off of him so he can get up and not be lying on the ground if the parents want to come out and say hi. ]

[overstrain]

Cold ice cream is the best...

[ Not really, and Terry sounds unsure saying it. He sighs and gets up after the kids are pulled off him. ]

I don't remember anything.

[reveilation]

No, ice cream is inherently cold... Do you not remember ice cream?

[ What is he so unsure about? Kido looks over at the pocket Orien's in, but he can't see her. ]

That must be really scary, though, having gaps in your memory like that. It's the same for me, but not this bad.

[overstrain]

... It's not really gaps. I don't remember anything.

[ It's like someone putting a white sheet over his memories and going "here. you're a clean slate now". ]

And, well... all I've met are good people so far, so I'm not scared.

[reveilation]

[ ...Kido pokes the pocket where Orien is, while Hayato looks on all of this curiously but silently. ]

Are you just saving all the rude people for last? You should take him to the train if you haven't yet.

[overstrain]

[ "I wanted him to lead a more normal life as much as he can until it's inevitable."

Because Orien figures that Kido knows how Terry acts--if there's someone in need, he goes to help, no matter if he'll make it better or worse. And frankly, Orien thinks Terry has had enough of that especially when it comes to the more fantasy side of things, so he should be banned from doing fighting things until he gets better.

Terry looks at Kido though. ]

There's a train?

[reveilation]

[ A normal life... ]

...No, there's no train. I misspoke.

[ She gets how Terry is- how his personality is even without memories- but she doesn't really get why Orien wants Terry to think he leads a normal life, when it's all the other weird things that will be more likely to trigger memories. Two minutes with Minato would probably do it. ]

Look, there's Suzume. With money in her hands and she looks pretty happy, so I guess we're getting ice cream.

[overstrain]

When I was looking around the town, I didn't see any train tracks, so there's no way there could be a train!

[ Hahahaha yeah. Sure. Let's go with that. ]

Let's go for ice cream them. Hm...

[ He looks down at Suzume and Hayato. ]

Wanna be carried? I think I can carry one of you at least.

[reveilation]

[ Yeah... She should just not mention the train at all, and keep Terry out of the woods for good measure. Hopefully he'll sleep through the night and not see the Shadows, but that comes with the question of where and Kido doesn't know if Orien means for him to come back or rent a place at the inn or sleep in the park which Kido won't let him. They'll sort it out later, she supposes, as Hayato yells about wanting to be carried but so does Suzume. She's even pressing the money into Terry's hand— she will bribe him to be the one to be carried.

Kido walks off towards the ice cream shop, because Terry can figure it out. Either kid will cry if they're left out, so there's really just one answer. ]

[overstrain]

[ Terry looks at Kido, who's already leaving. He looks down at the two kids, but doesn't move. Kido should probably discuss that with Orien later or whenever, really... at least he can easily move from Terry to Kido if he needs to. ]

Hey, Hayato, Suzume. Call her back here. She's not allowed to leave by herself. We're not going anywhere if we're not together.

[reveilation]

[ The two kids look at each other, then take a deep breath and simultaenously scream out "TSUBOMIIIIIIIIII!!!" which makes her jump and turn around, thinking her kids are being attacked or something. ]

What...?

[ "Come back or we can't have ice cream!!" ]

[overstrain]

[ Terry is just smiling over at Kido with the two kids. He's not moving from his spot until she comes back. ]

[reveilation]

If you guys come here, won't we be together again?

[ It's just ten or twenty feet. You can do it, Terry. Two kids aren't that heavy, though maybe she's forgetting this is normal nerfed Terry. ]

[overstrain]

No, because we have to start together. Isn't that right, you two? Because leaving people behind isn't fun.

[ He smiles down at them both. ]

[reveilation]

[ They all started together but now they're lagging, Kido wants to say, but she just sighs and walks back before the kids can scream that yeah, you can't leave people behind! if you leave people behind, they can't get ice cream!

She'll do it for the ice cream. ]

You say you're bad with kids, but that's not true, is it? You act like one yourself, sometimes.

[ But she'll pick up Suzume because she's lighter, and leave Hayato to Terry. ]

[overstrain]

[ Terry huffs. He was actually going to carry them both, but he did want them all to start together... Terry wonders himself if this makes him child-like. Orien told him he was 23... anyway, he picks up Hayato, since he's still pretty strong when brought down to human levels. ]

Do I really...

[reveilation]

Yeah. I liked that a lot about you. Suzume, did you want ice cream in a cone or cup, or popsicles from the store?

[ Suzume isn't sure, taking her time debating over the options, but Hayato pipes up that he wants something blue. ]

[overstrain]

Hm... blue moon ice cream?

[ He doesn't know if it exists, and he glanced up at the sky when he let that slip out of his mouth. ]
