I - 11/17: early morning, torii dimension (locked to Sasuke)

[ Terry had been a zombie for several days, and in complete stasis, despite the numerous wounds he was bleeding from that have never healed. It doesn't look like he's been bleeding while here though and he finally opens his eyes for the first time in days. ]

Where am I...?


II - 11/17: afternoon to evening, town

[ Terry lost all his memories. Good thing he and Orien met up. Maybe Sasuke also relayed the basics to him too. Either way, Orien got him a fresh set of clothes after Terry cleaned himself in the bathhouse. He's no longer a bloody mess. Orien is being a good tour guide and telling Terry where everything is, what he did, etc. Orien is treating this like Terry has been leading a normal life here. Don't fuck it up. He has glasses on too, since Orien brought that over as well. ]


III - 11/18: morning, torii (locked to Sasuke)

[ Terry regains all his memories. Everything. It takes so much not to lash out and he's started to feel desperate after experiencing the events on the 17th. He hides in the forest and revisits the torii. Please let him in. ]


IV - 11/19: lockdown, fear floor (limited to 2 people)

[ It's a ruined city. If you've seen Terry's memory floor previously, you'll see that it's the same city as before. However, there is no ongoing destruction. Everything has already happened. You'll see three people: Terrence, who stands at a distance from the other two, Terry who seems shell-shocked by something, and... another Terry? It's Shadow Terry, making a reappearance, grabbing a hold of Terry's collar and yelling at him.

It's a mess already. There's a reason this is the fear floor. ]


V - 11/23-25: black cat house, around town

[ A) Black cat house: There is a big, fluffy samoyed dog in the crane room that's looking down at the 30+ cats and petting them with his paw.

B) Around town: And now there's a big fluffy samoyed dog prancing around town that's petting cats again. Some cats have mixed responses to the petting. If he sees you, he'll give a short howl before staring at you. His omamori is completely hidden in his poofy fur, but if you dig through his fur, you'll see a glimpse or the usual red-brown that peeks through all the white. It's like a collar with a name tag... without the name. ]


VI - 11/28-29: around... town

[ Terry woke up inside Toki's body and he is having such a bad time. You can most likely find him lying down on the ground somewhere in town for one of many reasons. ]

[ He sighs, takes it, and wears those too. Terry looks at himself in the mirror. He doesn't look good at all. ]

... I'm never coming out.

[reveilation]

[ Terry's appearance really doesn't matter to Kido, but at least somebody's clearly having fun. ]

The store will close in a couple of hours, so you're going to have to. I just want to see how you look, and then you can take everything off.

[overstrain]

No! You'll have to break the door if you ever want to see me like this!

[ And here Orien is just thinking, "you can just change your clothes back to yours and leave", but. Yeah. Let Kido have her fun. She deserves it. ]

[reveilation]

[ ...Kido activates her eye ability so nobody's going to pay attention to their little corner of the store, and then attempts to kick down the door. Scream all you want, Terrence Nowell, nobody will hear you. ]

[overstrain]

[ Terry lets out a startled yell, but the lock on the door miraculously holds. ]

Stop that! Don't actually break the door?!

[reveilation]

The door's fate isn't up to me.

[ Whether or not the door lives depends on if Terry's going to come out. He's fighting pretty hard to resist, though, so Kido doesn't try to kick the door again, knocking her knuckles on it instead. ]

Are you embarrassed? I can come inside instead and nobody else will see. Open the door.

[overstrain]

[ The moment she says that, Terry opens the door, pulls Kido in, locks the door again and then puts his face into his hands. He doesn't want to say anything, because yeah, he's embarrassed. ]

[reveilation]

[ She's surprised to be pulled in just like that, but not as surprised as seeing Terry's getup, even if she's the one who chose everything.

...haha

Kido steps back as far as she can against the wall and snaps a picture with her phone. It doesn't matter if Terry's covering his face, because it's obvious who he is even while doing that. ]

Are you remembering anything yet?

[overstrain]

No!! Give me that phone!

[ He's gonna attempt to yank it out of her hand. Orien sealed all his offensive abilities, so Kido is free to bully him while being backed up by Bongogami's stats. ]

[reveilation]

[ Nice. Thanks, Orien.

The phone gets slipped into her back pants pocket and hem of her hoodie pulled down over it, while she tries to fend off his other hand. She looks like she wants to laugh, but it's also a complicated expression, and she holds onto Terry's wrists to keep him from grabbing the phone. ]

I always meant to give it back to you. You're the one who gave me this phone over four months ago, and I meant to give it back to you today.

[ The plan was to punch him, give back everything of his that she still has, and then walk away, but the plan fell apart and now she can't do any of that. ]

There are a lot of memories on this phone. Do you want to see?

[overstrain]

[ Orien wanted to think that if Terry could live a normal life apart from the memory loss, that would have been fine. That's why he sealed his offensive abilities. Can't do anything about needing to drink blood or not dying when he should though.

Terry stops struggling--even when brought down to normal power levels, he should still be relatively strong, so he's surprised when Kido fends him off so easily. He also realizes that this looks questionable while Kido is standing against the wall and he's being like this, so he backs off. ]

... Is it more embarrassing things?

[reveilation]

[ Those are some glaringly abnormal things amongst all the potential normal.

Kido seems satisfied when Terry stops, and she moves to sit down on the bench, pushing Terry's old clothes aside so that it's trapped between her and the wall. Now he can't escape unless he wants to walk out in a dress. ]

Hm... Some of them are, yeah. You did a lot of embarrassing things I thought was funny, or that I got mad over.

[ She pats the seat next to her. It doesn't matter if it's embarrassing, right? Sit. ]

[overstrain]

[ Terry is curious though, so he ends up sitting next to Kido. ]

Why did I give you the phone if it had so many memories on it though?

[reveilation]

Who knows... I didn't have one, so you gave yours to me. You can remember the reason later along with everything else.

[ Terry's a weirdo who gave away his phone, even if it had so many memories in it, along with a whole bunch of other personal information. She's not sure how much of that she should be showing him, whether it's audio diaries or videos of his life back at home, because she doesn't know enough to explain anything. Instead, she turns so Terry can't see the screen while she flips through the photo album. Aside from texts, this is really the only other place Kido added anything to the phone. There are a lot of pictures of cats. ]

Here. This is the sort of thing you do.

[ The first one she shows Terry is that one with the maid outfit at the cafe. He looks a lot different with an actual outfit and with makeup and a wig and everything. ]

... Can I live a different life, starting now? I don't like this at all.

[ He's going to yeet all his crossdressing memories now. Thanks, Kido. ]

[reveilation]

No.

[ She has hard evidence on her phone. All of this has probably been printed out in a family album back home. He can't escape his shady past. ]

This one was at the school festival. You helped out a lot back then too.

[ Kido could have taken a picture of the epic battle that was the highlight of the play, but no. It's a picture of Terry as the maiden at the very end. ]

[overstrain]

[ Terry squints at the photo. ]

It's not like I look good in a dress or anything either... why did I keep doing it? I don't get it.

[ population, everyone: we don't get you either ]

[reveilation]

Who knows? Maybe you'll remember later.

[ She says nothing about being the one to put him in those situations; the maid cafe was all Terry.

Here's another picture that isn't a dress, but it's still Terry in girls' clothing, from when they went shopping together and Kido made him put on the same thing he chose out for her as petty revenge. There's probably a picture of her wearing the exact same thing on his phone, now that Kido thinks about it. She'll have to get her hands on the phone later so she can delete it. ]

... Can we look at something else? I'm not remembering anything.

[ THIS IS TORTURE, KIDO... ]

[reveilation]

The rest of the pictures are just like this, so alright.

[ Those were all the implicating pictures she had anyways. What else does she have... The picture of her and Rei in yukata that she doesn't feel like showing Terry, and the one in the house lying on the couch with all the cats. ]

Do you remember any of your twenty cats?

[overstrain]

... The past me was also stupid to own that many cats.

[ Hello??? ]

I guess he was rich or had someone paying everything for him to live the dream of having... twenty cats... I dunno.

[reveilation]

Yeah, past you was pretty stupid. But he worked really hard to support all his twenty cats, and his family too.

[ Twenty cats is probably Kido's dream more than anyone, bar Souji. So she's glad that Terry likes they and kept all of them. ]

[overstrain]

[ This was before when Terry thought four cats owned by Jace was too many... ]

He must have loved them a lot... Orien told me he was like a family man. Was he a single parent or something?

[reveilation]

[ Anything over two cats feels like too many... Their house probably has it as bad as the Velvet Room by now, with people dumping their cats in there for some reason instead of letting them go back to living in the streets where they came from. ]

Not exactly...

[ She has to give Orien a look, which he might not ever catch, depending on what pocket he's hiding in, because how much about her and Rei did he tell Terry? She'd caught him saying something about being nervous back when she was on the phone with the two of them, but it didn't matter to her back then what that was about. ]

It was a little different. He took care of everybody, but everybody took care of him too. That's what made it work, I think... back then.

[ Before everything went up in flames. ]

[overstrain]

[ Orien vacuums the house twice a day... Orien isn't in a pocket since Terry is wearing that hideous getup and his regular clothes are squished by Kido and the wall. He catches Kido's glance, but he doesn't know what she wants to say with that action. ]

Was he like... the caretaker of an orphanage, then?

[ ??? ]

... But it sounds nice, when you put it like that.
